The thought of you.

The more I think of you, the more I can't help myself but like you more, but I can't help but sound mean to you. I like you since a long time. You never knew, because of my mean nature.
The more Kageyama thinks about Hinata, the more he wants to embrace him and just do those couple things.

When Kageyama was at the states.

Being in the states is absolutely terrifying, I don't even speak their language, but I'd have to some how learn. Kageyama mumbled to himself. While he was trying to understand what being in the states feel like, he could understand the basics and how to live in the American households, it's nothing like in japan. The most thing he struggled was finding the volleyball court buildings and looking for Volleyball coaches. In the meantime while he was getting comfortable to the hotel he was in, he then tried to study a bit of english.

The more he tried studying, the more he thinks about Hinata and wondered if he's living well.
Since they been together from a bit of middle school when they saw each other in different schools they were playing a volleyball match against each other and a lot in High school, they were the idiotic but fast duo. Nothing else could compare.

There was nobody else that Kageyama liked.
He had confessions from girls but he turned them down, since he liked volleyball quite a lot and seemed to enjoy it. Hinata was the only one that truly helps Kageyama a bunch when he was feeling down about himself. When Kageyama crumbled during a volleyball match,
but Hinata's loud voice and his positive joyful personality, helped Kageyama get back up again.

Kageyama felt the need to change so he can show Hinata more of that caring side, and also show his future boyfriend all the english he learned. But while studying English, Kageyama couldn't do it, it became a bit complicated.

Instead Kageyama grabbed his extra clothes and volleyball sets and decided to find a building that you can play volleyball in. As he found one, he then left the hotel and started to head there, with the location track on.

He noticed it was nearby, as he walked towards it he noticed some people playing an intense volleyball game.
Kageyama felt like an average volleyball player, it made him feel discouraged at his abilities in volleyball. He went to his own court to practice on his own. As he was about to start, a random player walked to him and asked if he wanted to practice together, but Kageyama didn't understand a thing since he doesn't speak English.

" ah, yes thank you. " Kageyama said nervously.
The man looked confused, he wondered if he said anything that made Kageyama say thank you. Then another person came by. The person had a spikey white grey hair with black streaks, and also had long round golden colored eyes, he resembles an horned owl. His name is Bokuto Koutarou.

"We can practice together later, if you would like." Bokuto responded to the dood.
The man nodded while introducing themselves to each other and introducing Kageyama to the man as well. Then Bokuto told Kageyama everything on what the man had said.
Kageyama nodded, and agreed to playing later.
Just then Bokuto and Kageyama decided to play and practice together.

As they played for hours and played with the man that agreed to play against them, they both suddenly got hungry and the two of them decides to go eat somewhere together while talking about what happened after highschool and college stuff like that. They even talked about if they both have girlfriends.

Bokuto told Kage that he has a boyfriend instead of a girlfriend. Kageyama was in shock, he then says. "I- I don't have a girlfriend, but I do like Hinata." Bokuto face was filled in shock but a part of him knew already. "Since when?"
Bokuto asked how long he liked Hinata.
"Since high school, but I was to scared to tell anyone or even him." Kageyama responded.
Bokuto could agree with him but he also knows that love is love. He even told Kageyama that people that doesn't accept same gender love, are nothing but trash.

"Continue to love Hinata without having to face worries. In the end you and Hinata will be in your own worlds." Bokuto said to courage him a bit. Kageyama could sense that Bokuto have gone through the same thing. He took the advice well and understands that in the end him and Hinata will be together. As they talked about that for few hours, the two of them noticed the time and had to head out. They both of them decided to meet again when they were free again. They both went on separate ways.

Kageyama's mind was filled with Hinata less than minutes. He realizes that it's been a while since he talked to Hinata. He knows about the major time difference so he decides to message him when he isn't sleeping. But that never happened. As days passed by, Kageyama was busier than ever, he was offered to play for Volleyball teams, and play at other different places, but he felt better by just playing where he was best comfortable and love doing.
Just then he suddenly mumbled the words.
I miss you.
He wanted Hinata to hear that but his soft side is hard for Hinata to capture, since the both of them are idiots mainly Kageyama.

Kageyama had planned that once he comes back he might confess if he has the courage to.
Since he doesn't want to hold up anymore, he might as well do it once he comes back. But just then as he was about to go play against some people, a random person had took his phone. After a few hours, Kage had finished playing and noticed that his phone was gone for good, since nobody had returned it, but he had Bokuto's contact saved in a piece of paper and asked him for help. After all that Hinata had never received a message from Kageyama since then. That's the story of how his lost phone came to be.

I had a similar thing happened to me, but I was in the bathroom and I accidentally left my phone in the bathroom and some mean ass people were about to steal my phone </3. This was in middle school.
