One month earlier

Silver and Blaze were great friends to each other since they lived together in a broken future with the scars of flames and destruction.

Silvers past was a confusing part of his life he never understood, mostly because he was orphaned as a child.

Silvers mother fell into a lava pit only two years after his birth and his father left him with a group of survivors.

He could here his fathers last words in his head, but never remembered his face.

Father: I'm sorry son, but an evil has rose that I must defeat. It was why we were created.

His father kisses his forehead before he left, with only a few words after the last ones.

Father: you were always my favorite hedgehog, Silver.

His father walked away as Silver, since he was a little boy, watched him leave with confusion.

-the present-

Blaze: you think to hard.

Silver: oh shut up.

The two both laughed a bit and started to roll on the floor.

Blaze: this is so soft, isn't it Silver?

Silver: yes this is very soft.

He started to purr when he kept rolling around on the floor. Blaze looked at him and giggled.

Blaze thought: he looks so cute when he rolls around like that. So adorable.

Silver stopped after he saw Blaze staring at him and got up.

Blaze: aww why'd you stand up, you were so...

Suddenly the front door to there apartment started to knock. Blaze stood up and opened it.

Sally: something happened.

Sally was breathing hard, like she was running away from something very fast.

Blaze: come on in, sit down.

Sally listened to her and walked inside, sitting herself onto the couch.

Silver: what happened? You look exhausted.

Sally: it-it's Christien.

Blaze: what happened with him?

Sally was about to say something, but she started to cry. She grabbed a pillow and just cried loudly into it.

Silver: Sal, if you can't tell us you don't have too.

She put her face away from the pillow, put it back where it was, and say upright.

Sally: Christien has been missing for over a year now. I thought he might have been on a mission but it's been to long.

Blaze: oh my god.

Sally: I know, I wish I knew what was wrong.

Silver: ya, so do we.
