Chapter 9

After that encounter at the terrace she was more comfortable with me. Days went by and I went back to my home I tried everything not to think about her but those thoughts were invading my mind I was feeling guilty to think about my best friends sister so I went for a business trip for almost 5 months to take my mind off from these things .when I come back i was informed by Saad that Hadi is in critical condition in a hospital without wasting any time I went to him where I found my best friend on a hospital bed wires attached with his body and he was bearly breathing .

"Hadi "I said, sitting in front of him.

"Mahi akali hai" is the only sentence he said after meeting me.

(Mahi is alone)

After that he went on a deep slumber due to the effect of medicines.

"Hua kya hai" I asked Saad while sitting in the waiting area.

(What happened)

"Kisi na puri family ko marna ki koshish ki hai sirf Hadi bacha hai aur is ki bahan ka kuch pata nahi police dhond rahi hai" he said

(Someone tried to kill whole family only Hadi is safe and their is no trace about his sister police is trying to find her)

"Kya matlab us ka kuch pata nahi itna time ho gya aur wo abhi tak nahi mili main khud kuch karta hun" he said getting up in frustration.

(What do you mean they didn't know anything about her it's been so long and they hadn't found her yet I'll do something myself)

After that we tried finding her for almost two weeks but we didn't find any clue and in the meantime Hadi lost his life .

And at last after 4 weeks we find her in the warehouse in the middle of a jungle. She was unconscious for almost 5 days and after getting her consciousness back the first thing she said broke my heart into millions of pieces.

"Bahi kahan hain" she whispered trying to suppress her tears.

(Where is Bahi)

Present:

I tried everything to make her life normal again and to find the murderer.

"Tu phir mila wo"she said

(Did you find him)

"Han mila" he said with a guilty face.

(Yes I found him)

"Us na police ka ana sa pehla apni jan la li" she gasped hearing his confession.

(He took his life before police would come)

"Sab kuch thek ho jaye ga bus thoda waqt do usa" she said assuring him.

(Everything is going to be alright just give her some time)

On her words he just nodded

"Ab ghar jao main agla hafta main uske liye appointment schedule kar ti hun"

(Now go home I will schedule appointment for her I next week)

After coming back home he saw his cousins playing ludo in the lawn. He felt guilty not spending time with them so he went towards them where they were bickering .

"Bahi ap log cheating kar raha hain mujah ap logon ka sath nahi khalna" Rabia said irritatingly looking towards Asad and Arham .

(Bahi you guys are cheating I don't want to play with you)
