It was just like any other day in the city of Inkopolis. Inklings and Octolings talking with each other while having fun as well. Jaden was no different from them. Pretty hard headed and stubborn, but he was an overall good guy at heart. Today, he was with his other friends in a public turf war battle. Jaden, Isaiah, Apple, Melon, Mahi, Zoni, Bright, and a random. Once the battle started, they introduced the teams. Zoni, Apple, Mahi, and the random where teamed up. The other side consisted of Melon, Bright, Isaiah, and Jaden. The timer started when the introductions were complete, and off they went into the turf war.
The random by the name of Ashley was a bit nervous to participate, it being her first turf war and all. She gathered up enough courage and jumped down from the spawn point, starting to ink up turf with her Splattershot Jr. Isaiah caught sight of her with his Kensa Splat Charger and revved up his shot before being taken down by Zoni, wielding their E-liter 4k {Isaiah was now back at spawn}. Ashley turned to Zoni held a thumbs up so she could proceed, having no expression with the mask they wore. She continued on her way and watched from afar as Apple was fighting off Melon with a Clash Blaster as he tried making shots with his Squiffer, Bright watching them in the process because he never thought about hurting Apple. While she watched, Jaden came up behind her and nearly splatted her before Mahi came down from above, splatting him with her Splat Roller. Ashley turned around as she didn't even know he was there, looking down a bit, mumbling a 'Sorry' under her breath. "As expected from a random. I guess I should round everyone up. *whistles a call-up*" Everyone stopped fighting and headed to the middle of the map which was New Albacore Hotel, making small chatter with each other until they were all there except Zoni {They usually never talked}.
Mahi smiled as Ashley on the other hand didn't have any idea about what was going on. Jaden superjumped to Isaiah and looked at him with a slight frown. "Mahi got me with a roller. What happened to you?" Isaiah looked away. "Zoni got me with an E-liter when I was trying to get her." "Come on Zay-Zay..Zoni isn't hard to kill." At that moment, Zoni looked over at Jaden and moved a finger across their throat in a menacing way, nothing but a smile and two spots for eyes on the mask. Jaden sweatdropped and turned to the random, holding his Splattershot pro. "Something about her though. It's leaving me curious..call me crazy but I kinda like her already." Isaiah laughed and wiped a tear from his eye. "Bro..are you simping again?" "N-No! I am not being a simp..Shut up!" Mahi turned to them and sighed. "Stop being babies and get over here. You've gotta meet the new girl." Isaiah and Jaden both came over and shoved one another out of annoyance, Mahi eyeing the two before speaking. "Okay guys, this is Ashley. Ashley, these are my friends. Guys, introduce yourselves." Everyone began doing so. "I'm Apple." "Hello, Mario. I'm Bright." "It's Melon. or Matthew." "I'm Isaiah. The cutest neko girl around." "I-I'm Jaden. Who's super cool by the way." Zoni didn't say a word except look at Mahi as she nodded. "And that's Zoni. They don't have a transmitter yet so they don't talk much. Also, we're going to be showing you the ropes. You almost got Splatted by Isaiah and Jaden so why not?"
For the rest of the match, they all taught Ashley how to turf along with the strengths and weaknesses of each weapon, along with the ones they didn't have. At the end of the match, Ashley's team was declared the victory, she being happy about her first win. "We won! We won! Wow..you guys are pretty awesome. Thank you for helping me get my first win." She said. "Yeah, don't worry about it. We should all get going though, you too. It's gonna rain soon."
