CHAPTER #18

JUNGKOOK'S POV: -

   Today's the day my parents will be arriving from America cuz they had important work to do...I will come early from work to pick them up, I don't know why they told me to pick them up from the airport, even though we have a driver.

It's 1:15 pm in the afternoon, I have to go to airport... I wrapped up the files and took my wallet and car keys.

I'm at the airport for half an hour but still no sigh of my parents...

I still wait for them and then I hear my mother's voice, I turn around and see them.

I walk to them and frown:"Am I your servant?"

My mom held my ear and stretched it....AH!!! I REGRET SAYING THAT!!!

"I was just joking, mom." I said and she released my ear from her hold.

"Dad why did you tell me to pick you up when you have a driver?"

"Because we wanted to tell you something and we're having dinner outside so call taehyung and tell him not to prepare lunch, we'll pack for him and Namjoon...okay!?"

What can I say when they have planned everything 😑....now I have to call Taehyung 😠

We went to a restaurant and I told my parents to order food for themselves and for me too cuz I have to make a phone call.

I went outside and called taehyung. After four rings he picked up...what was he doing that he couldn't pick up his phone 😠

"Hello?"

"Jungkook"

I replied:"Yes, taehyung... Uhm What were you doing...you took so long in picking up your phone...???"

"Uh...Sorry I was downstairs in the kitchen cutting the vegetables...and my phone was in the living room, Sorry it won't happen again."

I regret scolding him:"It's okay, it's not a big deal... You don't have to apologise."

"I called to tell you that don't prepare lunch, mom, dad and me are in the restaurant right now so we'll pack food for you and Namjoon-hyung..."

Taehyung said:"Mom and dad came back...!???"

"Yeah, I picked them up a while ago and now we're in the restaurant... So we'll comeback after awhile..." I said.

"Okay, then bye...come home safe." Taehyung said.

It somehow warmed my heart hearing him say those words.

"Okay bye." I said and hung up the call.

I went back inside and sat with my parents.

A waitress served us food while she was eyeing me. She had a pretty face and body but I didn't feel attracted to her somehow...
My parents noticed her and fake coughed.

When the waitress was serving my mom the dishes, my mom said:" My son, here is happily married and his wife is pregnant with his baby so why don't you do your work and stop eying a married man or else you know what happens...😬"

The waitress served the food and ran away in fear of getting fired.

I glared at my mom and she said 'what!?'

"Why did you say my wife is pregnant!??" I asjed angrily.

My mother shrugged:" well, that's not a lie, right!? He will be in the next few weeks when you go on your honeymoon!!!"

"Mom we're not going on a honeymoon and that's not gonna happen so stop lying about everything."

"Honey that is gonna happen cuz me and your dad here bood two plane tickets for you and taehyung two weeks to Hawaii."

"What!?" I said shocked.

"Yes that's true...you were not going so we booked tickets for you...and if you refuse to go then you'll not receive the other surprise." My dad said.

I said curiously:"And what's the other surprise...!??"

My dad said looking at my mom:" Should we tell him or not!???"

My mom shrugged:"Tell him...it was a surprise but.... tell him..."

Dad said:"Okay...so a few weeks ago my friend talked about a house, it's newly made by him but he wanted to sell it at a good price cuz he was in need of money...so me and your mom looked the house from the inside and it was beautiful built...It was quite expensive too so we bought it before going to America... And we planned on giving it to Namjoon but you're married so now we're giving it to you as your family will expand, you're going to have kids and everything so you and taehyung should have you own house an-"

My mom cutt him off: "AND and remember one thing, when you and taehyung go on a honeymoon, I want grandchildren....MUST."

I said:"Mom we already talked about this... No kids for now."

My mom said putting an end to our argument: " well then say goodbye to the new house."

I agreed unwillingly:"Okayy...but tell that to taehyung yourself..."

At the end it's my parents who won....

'Well looks like I have to make a plan B...😢' I thought to myself...
