Crowned Prince - Taehyun (Feat Kai) Part 2

Y/N rode on top of the swing as she admired the moon waiting for Kai to come. She used the swing as she remembered a flashback of her and her father playing here together many years ago.

"Do you want me to push you?" Kai asked. Y/N got up and turned around to face him. "No. I felt tired waiting for your highness here. What is the important thing you wanted to tell me?" Y/N asked.

"Why are talking to me formally? Y/N I really hate it when you talk like this!" Kai said. "What shall I do then, your highness? You are the prince and I am just a court lady, it will make people misunderstand our relationship." Y/N said.

"Won't you even look at my eyes? Y/N please! We have been childhood friends and people have nothing to care about when it's me, I am not even worthy of being the next king. Please act as Y/N, my close friend, not a court lady." Kai said. "Fine.....but what did you want to talk about?" Y/N asked.

Kai sighed as he sat down on the swing and looked at the moon ignoring her. "If you are not speaking then I am leaving." Y/N said.

"No, no, no! Wait!" Kai said as he got up and held Y/N's hand. She removed his hands as she crossed her hands and looked at him directly waiting for an answer.

"Um.....You have to quit being Taehyun's court lady!" Kai said. "What are you saying? You know how hard I am working and how much life would be easier if I became a court lady!" Y/N said.

"It will be dangerous too! Everyone wants to be the king now and eventually you would end up getting killed along with Taehyun." Kai said.

"I don't care about that, why would anyone kill me anyway? But let's say I did what you said and quit being a court lady, what will I do?" Y/N asked.

"You can be my court lady." Kai said. "Only kings get a court lady, NingNing, please stop acting like this. I will talk to you formally in the castle only so don't worry, nothing bad will happen." Y/N said as she placed her hand on Kai's shoulder and then left.

Kai sighed as he felt sad. "But you don't know how dangerous he can be!"

Y/N returned to the castle and walked toward her room when she saw Taehyun standing there. She quickly walked there and bowed.

"Your highness! May I ask what you are doing here?" Y/N asked. "I couldn't sleep so I thought some of your tea might help me, or more like....your company." Taehyun said.

"E-Excuse me?" Y/N asked in shock. "Will you keep on standing there like that or help me?" Taehyun asked playfully. "Pardon me for making you wait, I will prepare it now so please let me walk to your room." Y/N said.

"No, I want to go to your room." Taehyun said. "Pardon?"

"I have something for you anyway so I will go in." Taehyun said. He opened the door and entered and Y/N followed him inside. She quickly started preparing the tea while Taehyun looked around as he sat down.
