Player (Final Part) - Soobin

"Are you sure none of the staff left? It's been almost four months!" Y/N said. "I am sorry. No jobs are currently available at any of the big 3 companies. I still wonder why you are searching for a job while you are already working at Bighit?" The lady asked.

"This is a personal matter.... thank you anyway. I will call you again next month." Y/N said. She ended the phone call and sighed as she sat down.

The door was opened and Hueningkai entered. "Manager-nim, me and Soobin are ready to go and record." Kai said. "Let's get going then." Y/N said as she grabbed her bag and followed Kai outside.

Soobin lately got a new position as Music banks new MC. Kai was supposed to be there since he had a special interview and Y/N was now supposed to go with him every Friday. 'How lucky....' Y/N thought.

"You finally came!" Soobin said with a grin as he lowered the glass of the window. "Yeah...let's get going." Y/N said. She opened the van's door and Kai entered. Y/N entered inside to sit beside the staff but....

"I am sorry...it looks like there is no empty seat." One of the staff said. "But I am his manager, I have to go." Y/N said. "You can take a taxi, don't be overdramatic." The staff replied. "Excuse me but I-"

"Come and sit beside me." Soobin said as he held Y/N's hand and pushed her beside him. "There is this empty seat beside me, why didn't you sit in it?" Soobin asked as he looked directly at Y/N.

"Well I...." "Oh Y/N! If you are feeling uncomfortable, I can sit there instead of you!" One of the staff said. "Yeah, sure." Y/N said as she was about to get up but Soobin stopped her.

"I feel comfortable around my manager. Let's go before we are late." Soobin said. The staff glared at Y/N and she tried to avoid both her gaze and Soobin's gaze.

It was a while until the van arrived at KBS building and everyone got off. They headed backstage where Kai and Soobin started to get their makeup done.

Y/N sat down waiting for the two to get done as she checked her phone for some photos for her and Soobin five years ago, she had a sad smiled on her face.

"Manager-nim, why do you look sad?" Kai asked. Y/N quickly hid her phone as she smiled. "Nothing, just a bit sleepy." Y/N said. "You are lying." Kai said as he sat down beside Y/N. "W-What?" Y/N asked.

"You think I didn't heart it? You have been looking for another job in other companies! Do you hate us?" Kai asked in a sad tone. "Oh, of course not! I just...."

"We all know that you are Soobin's ex-girlfriend." Kai said. "W-What?" Y/N asked in shock. "We never met each other but we saw you once five years ago. I know what you did was wrong but I can feel that you changed and felt bad for doing that. No one hates you, not even Soobin! We all love you." Kai said.
