And because of that, he bursted into tears again and began to cry on Nightmare, where Nightmare just did his best to comfort the smol child. Maybe- Maybe he would put his trust on this Nightmare, after all... Nighty is still Nighty...

Nightmare frowned down at the small child crying and sobbing in his arms as he held him close, placing a hand on their skull and gently scritches the small one to help him calm down a bit. So young and so small, he didn't need to experience such tragedy, but he couldn't help but empathize with the child though. After all, he was also a kid himself when the apple incident occured. Blue, Sci and Geno were looking at the small guy sympathetically, Nightmare glancing up when Reaper excused himself to go do his job. Geno waving at his mate as he left the portal.
Soon enough, the little Dream's sobbing has quieted down so the atmosphere was quite silent, nothing out of the ordinary. That was, until Outer suddenly opened the door and came running in, causing Dream to let out a small cry of shock and began to sob on Nightmare again, who quickly cooed and cuddled him close. "Outer! What the hell?" Geno softly hissed and Outer looked at the skeles in the room. "Ink and Dream are here. Dream felt intense negativity coming from here and somehow, they managed figured out that other Dream is here, and is now looking for him." Outer said and Sci cursed under his breath. The smaller Dream just lets out a small whimper and Nightmare gently hushed him. "Well, from the looks of it, I'm gonna have to take him to the mansion. But I'm worried on how he will hold up with so much negativity around him." Nightmare spoke with worry and Sci shook his head a frown on his face. "Well we have to make a choice now!" Sci hissed. Nightmare groaned but opened a portal anyways, the Negativity guardian frowning when he felt the little Dream shudder a bit. Outer, Blue and Geno quickly jumping into the portal and Nightmare soon followed after. The portal closing just in time to see Ink barging in. "Sci! Boy am I glad to see you!" Ink grinned and Sci fixed his lab coat while raising a bonebrow at Ink. "Something you need, Ink?" Sci asked and Dream entered after Ink, panting a bit before he looked around. "Mhh... I felt it here, but it was only brief... It's gone again..." Dream muttered, he won't even bother mentioning that he felt Nightmare's presence to Ink, knowing that Ink will probably attack his brother and scare away the little one in the process. Ink then pouts before glancing and tilted his head at Sci.
"We're looking for a small, tiny version of Dream! We kinds lost him when we went to the new AU and Dream figured he might've AU jumped by accident, so now we're looking for him! Have you seen him?" Ink asked and Sci tilted his head with a hum. He's gonna have to be clever with this one, since Dream can detect lies, well, mostly know what is a lie and what isn't.
"I did saw that little guy, yes, but they have already left the AU, so you might have to go look for them elsewhere, sorry." Sci commented and Ink huffed. "Dammit!" Ink groaned while Sci blinked. "Why? Is there something you need?" "Well, we wanted to see if we could get him to join us! Especially since he's another version of Dream- it'll help defeat Nightmare faster!" Ink exclaimed happily and Sci just lets out a hum and a nod of acknowledgement. "Alright... Well, you both should continue looking then. Now shoo, I have things to do and things to experiment on." Sci began to usher them out and Dream slowly nods. He could tell that that wasn't the full story, but something's telling him that it's better to not ask about it. "Thank you anyways Sci!" Dream chirped and Sci nods, Dream turning before yelping when Ink grabbed his wrist and then jumped into the Ink puddle with him. Sci couldn't help but notice the very split second of fear on Dream's face and narrowed his eyesockets a bit. Maybe he was just shocked? No no, that was fear... But why? Unable to get an answer to that question, Sci just lets out a sigh of relief, at least they didn't suspect that the little guy was with Nightmare.
Looking around tl make sure that no one is gonna enter, or is looking for him, he then made a portal under him and fell through. The portal quickly closing afterwards before he yelped a bit when he landed on something, or someone.
"Well hello there mah radical homie!" Sci blinked and looked up to see the grinning face of Fresh. The glasses having changed to [HEL]-[LO!] "Th-Thanks..." Sci muttered, embarrassed with the fact that Fresh was the one to catch him. "No prob my brotastic dude! Here, lemme put ya down!" Fresh exclaimed and sets Sci down, who nodded, then turned to the living room where they saw the little Dream just gently squeezing and poking one of Nightmare's tentacles in curiosity. It becoming something that Dream was quickly attached to. Cross and Killer just watching him, definitely cooing at the adorable little tinee while Dust slowly sipped on some ketchup and Horror nommed on his cookie. "Has he been introduced to the rest already?" Sci asked and Nightmare nodded.
"Yes... He was the first thing everyone noticed anyways... Told them to give Dream space to get used to them." Nightmare replied and Sci nods. "What about the negativity, did it affect him?" Sci asked and Nightmare shook his head. "At first, but he quickly got used to it so it was mostly a brief moment. He even managed to ward off some of it to my surprise." Nightmare said and looked down at the tinee little shi-
"That's good, though the reason why is unknown, yes?" Sci muttered, glancing up and Nightmare nods. He eventually ended up watching as the Dream then looked around, or attempted to, even if he couldn't see, it seems to make Dream both calm and a but nervous at the same time, his feelings fluctuating and Nightmare couldn't help but be concerned about that. Especially since fluctuating emotions would be hard on the little skeleling. "He should really get another name other than Dream, we could easily confuse his name as your brother's." Geno suddenly commented and Nightmare nodded and then looked down at the tinee one again. "Hey little Dream...?" "Y-Yes...?" "Do you have any other names that we can call you? There's already a Dream running around, and we don't wanna mistake you for him." Nightmare said softly and Dream blinked a bit and then thought for a moment. "Well... M-My brother usually calls m-me Radiant for s-some reason... As another name w-when referring to each other around the villagers... J-Just as I would call him Moonlight..." Dream, now will be referred to as Radiant muttered softly. "Why's that?" Outer couldn't help but ask. "Th-The villagers don't like me a-and Night-Nighty... So in o-order for the villagers to-to not drag me away from Nighty du-during out secret hang out ti-imes, we-we use different names to refer to each other...!" Radiant chirped and Nightmare thinned his lips. Right of the bat, that's one of the differenves between them. In all the years of guarding the three, they never really needed to have to hide, nor Dream really. "Alright... So we'll start calling you by Radiant then." Sci chirped and Radiant slowly nodded before wincing, hand shakily going to his bandages. "What's wrong?" Blue quickly worriedly asked and Radiant pointed at his bandages, quickly by the little one and the king of Negativity's side. "I-It's hurting bad..." Radiant muttered softly and Sci frowned. "Looks like I might need to change your bandages if that's the case. Pain like that doesn't go away easily, and the painkillers from the IV are most likely already wearing off." Sci said and Nightmare gently picked Radiant up, carrying the tinee in his arms. Both Nightmare and Sci proceeding to go to the medical room of the mansion to replace Radiant's bandages. Might as well make it Radiant's healing room so they wouldn't risk getting caught by the artist and the original Positivity Guardian.

If you have any other ideas for this story, that would help me out! As I am just forcing myself to write or go with the flow xD
