i text payton to ask where we are meeting up and he said at the park. i asked which park because there's tons and he said the one that down the street from my house.

me and emma head to my car and we drive to the park. when i pull into a parking spot i look and see that paytons in a red supra. i laugh and we all get out.

aspen: nice supra payton
i smile
payton: thanks. nice supra as well
aspen: you have great taste in cars i assume
i giggle
payton: says you. you have the same exact car but white.
he says pointing at my car

aspen: alright then. what are we doing?
payton: just chillin. oh and by the way this is jaden and jackson
jaden&jackson: sup
aspen&emma: sup
we said mocking them and they laughed

aspen: we met jaden at playlist so we kinda already knew him
payton: oh well that's good
emma: yea

aspen: alrighty let's be kids!
i say running to the swings

everyone runs after me and they all do there own thing. payton sits in the swing next to me. i look at him and smile he returns one.

payton: i wanna know more about you. tell me please..
aspen: what do you wanna know?
payton: how about your family
aspen: okayyy. my dad left when i was a baby. i love with my mom but she's rarely ever home because of work business trips. so i kinda live by myself and emma comes over 25/8
payton: well i'm sorry that your parents aren't really in your life
aspen: it's fine. tell me about you. emma may know literally everything about you but i don't so spill
payton: alright. i love with my mom and my sister faith in north carolina. my dad.. he abused my mom and left when i was 5 or so. i wouldn't be able to do most of the things that i am able to do without my moms support.
aspen: she sounds lovely.
i smile
payton: yea she is...
he says softly

he stares into my eyes and switched his gaze between my lips and my eyes. i was doing the same and we both started leaning in. we were about a centimeter apart before we heard a sneeze.

emma: JACKSON WHAT THE HELL MAN?!!
she shouts at him
jaden: dude they were literally so close!!
he joins in
jackson: sorry it's allergies!
he says putting his hands up in defense

me and payton pull away and both our faces are RED. i cover mine as payton just sits there. the others laugh at our faces and calm down and look at payton. he looks back at me with a smile.

aspen: to be continued..
i whisper
payton: i'm looking forward to it
she whispers back
