Chapter 30

August

I'm so proud of me and phat. We finally got an home to last us and my baby girl on the way.

I can tell it's a girl... my hood intuition.

It took me almost a month just to convince her to move in with me but everything worked out and she's here.

She been on maternity leave from the club so she's had plenty of time to just get stuff done around the house to make sure we prepared for the baby.

As for me, I decided to stop selling for good. The only thing that made me stop was thinking about how my baby would turn out if daddy was in jail or dead and how Kiana would be affected if she lost me.

But I have been working Kirko got me a job as an recording assistant at Dej Jam Studio of course the one in Louisiana.

When I told Lani about it she damn near begged me to take it.

I was leaning on the kitchen table when Kiana came downstairs in some black skinny jeans, a black shirt, and some black and white Vans. My baybeh can wear the most simple outfits and still look sexy.

"Baby where are we going?" I whined.

"Don't worry about it just know you gonna love it."Me and August had been in the car for almost a hour and a half and I was ready to get out.

He wouldn't tell me where we were going all he kept saying was I'm gonna love it. Since it didn't seem like we were stopping anytime soon I layed my head against the window and fell asleep.

"Aight bae wake up." August said as he gripped my thigh.I opened my eyes a little noticing it was night time.

When we got out the car we were at a park, as we walked closer I saw there was rose petals and candles lit all over the place, there was also a giant projector screen front of us.

"Aug,all of this is for us?"

"Nah all this is for you baby."I sat down on the picnic blanket that was laid out as something appeared on the screen.

It was a whole 10 minute film of combined video of the whole gang and family telling what they loved about me.

When the video stopped I had tears rolling down my eyes partly because I was pregnant and partly because Aug was so thoughtful to put this together.

I turned to him and cried a little harder as he leaned over and held me.

"I love you baybeh." He said as I looked up in disbelief.

He kissed my lips, my neck, my shoulders and every inch of my body until I was completely naked and up to his management.
