Chapter 40: Traitor

“I can see that you and Luke are fine now” Caden said as I finish cleaning myself.

I look at him lying in his king sized bed and nodded.

“Yes we are”

He pulled me towards him and we started to talk about the sudden attack until we both drifted to sleep.

The next day Caden told us that we should on hold the training for the day because the warriors are exhausted from the yesterday training and sudden attack.

Right now I am in the kitchen eating something because I have nothing to do. Luke came afterwards and takes a juice in the fridge. He looks at me and then looks around us.

“Can we talk in your room?” he asks through telepathy making me look at him confuse.

We are just using telepathy if something is up, so I can assume that this is something more.

I nodded at him and we both went upstairs in my room while I grab my food. Opening the door we both came inside and walk directly to the bed. I cross my legs in front of me and look at him.

“Report” I said and munch the sandwich I brought.

“For three days after we came here I notice rogues circling the pack. And they always show up when the patrols in the border shift for their time” he explained making me look at him intently.

“But we already change the shift of the border patrol” I said.

“Yes, but it doesn’t change anything. And last night, don’t you think it’s kind of weird to have them attack when the warriors are exhausted?”

“How can you sure of that? Don’t you think their lucky?”

“I hope so, but no. Earlier I saw someone. And that’s when I confirmed that this pack has a mole”

“Who?”

He looks intently at me before telling me through telepathy who is the traitor. That son of a bitch.

I clinch my hands in anger.

“Monitor his movements. We need to know who he works for. And make sure you are there when they interrogate the rogue I caught” I ordered and he nodded.

“Are you going to tell them this?” he ask.

“I am going to talk to Caden about this. Thank you Luke”

“No prob. I should get going, they are going to interrogate him in a minute”

I nodded and he bid good bye. At least now we know who the traitor is. And I am more than happy that Luke and I were fine now.

I get up from the bed and fix my foods. After putting he stuffs in the kitchen I went to his office but he is not there, so I leave no choice but to follow his scent, which is kinds hard because his smell is all over the place not to mention that all those scents where faint.

I am now walking to the library. I open the door and about to call him when I heard someone talking.

“Did you already find out who is that jerk?”

Hearing his voice I know who is it.

“I’m sorry alpha, but we still doesn’t have any lead who” another voice said making me balled my hands into fist. Doesn’t know who my ass.

“That guy is really good at hiding” 

When I though I just heard enough of it I come out from my hiding place and walk towards them. I have taken their attention to me.

“Can I talk to you?” I ask looking directly at Caden.

Jack and Jason look at us back and forth. Then Jason smiled widely at me.

“You can have the alpha, Jack and I were going to leave anyway” he said bowing his head towards Caden and me then started pushing Jack out of the library.

I follow their movement until they leave and close the library door.

“So what is it?” he asks.

I walk towards him slowly and push his chest, pushing him to the corner of the library where no one can notice us. When I look up at him he has a sly smile in his face.

“We can take this to my room to make it more comfortable” he whispers making me smirk at him.

I think what I am about to talk to him can wait for a while as I tag along at his playfulness.

I buried my head in his neck licking his skin in the process. I can feel him shiver of my actin making me smirk.

“I like it here” I said with my flirtiest voice.

I lower my touch in his body while I keep my head in place. Bringing my hands underneath his shirt. I can feel his abs. Damn it I can’t get enough of him.

“Claire” I heard him moan my name.

He put his both hands in the side of my face capturing my lips. I can feel every heat in my body. The tension in my body as I crave for more, the butterflies I started to feel in my stomach every time he kiss me, and the electricity the flows every inch in my body.

His hands started to lower down until it stops in my waist. He pushes me more towards him to deepen the kiss.

“Caden” I moan making him smirk through the kiss.

His kisses started to move lower to my jaw until it stops where my shoulder and neck meet. He started nibbling the part making me moan even harder.

Damn this is not the reason I came here. I can feel him kissing and licking the part. I don’t know when he shifted our position and I am now the one whose back is in the wall.

I put my hands around his neck griping his hair and pushing him more, I even tilted  head to the side so that he can gain more access.

“Damn it Claire, I can take you right here, right now” hearing what he said, even though I still wanted his touch I slowly push him.

“I like the idea of it but, that’s not the reason why I came here to see you” I said still out of breath.

“Then what is it?” he ask still not letting me go. I lean more towards him and whisper.

“I just learn that you have a traitor in your pack. And you’re going to be more surprise to know who it is”

He look intently at me before asking who. I lean more towards his ears and told him.

“Are you sure?” he ask in disbelief. I nodded at him.

“But let him feel the freedom. We should learn first who he works before we strike” I said.

“Good idea” he said then proceeds in kissing me again.
