INTO THE DARKNESS
As I stared into the endless sea,
the waves came rolling towards my feet.
A slight breeze blew the hair off my face,
as a shiver ran down my spine.
Looking forward I saw a silver thread,
separating the crimson sky and the deep blue water.
I heard little laughs,
and saw widening smiles around me.
The sun sank into the blue water,
seeking for help as time pulled it deep inside.
I watched in silence,
as the bright light was being swallowed by darkness.
