I stare at the unfamiliar ceiling and create imaginary shapes in pictures within the patterns above me. It was very early in the morning, late at night whichever. I just couldn't sleep. In fact I can't remember the last time I did.

Where was Tyler when you need him? I never considered Tyler my cousin, he was my brother. But Carol tells me he is not here because he's out on a trip, and I can it is a lie.

Today I know that Carol was taking me to the hospital. Back in Chicago I would stay there during the week, and can home on the weekend.

I tend to read a lot. It takes me away from the life that I'm currently living now. In fact, I turn over and sitting on the night stand is Looking for Alaska by John Green....

"Wait, so your saying there's another Lockwood in town?" Elena says turning to look at Damon, Rick, Caroline, and her brother Jeremy.

Damon had called everyone to the Salvatore house for an emergency meeting.

"Yeap. I overheard a car going by the Mystic Grill. The girl that was in the car said "Lets just go to Aunt Carols" or something." Damon says pacing.

"Wait I didn't even know there was another Lockwood other then Mason!" Elena says.

"Well apparently there was. Which means another Lockwood with the werewolf curse. And I do not want another werewolf threat roaming around this town." Damon replies with his eyes growing wide and the white of his eyes over took the blue beauty of his eyes.

"What are you suggesting we do?" Caroline speaks up. She felt with her connection with Tyler she should look out for his family.

"Kill her!" Damon says as if it were obvious.

"Damon! No! We are not going to kill anyone!" Elena shouted at him.

"Ok ok. Well then, let's look into this, and I'll try my best not to rip out her heart. Alright?" Damon says.

Caroline silently made her mission to protect this girl, not even knowing who she really is, or even her name.

"Ok do you have everything that you need? Got something to eat?" Carol says rushing around the house.

I sit at the bottom of the stair case watching her and wondering how fast a women can move in heels.

"Carol, I'm fine." I laugh lightly.

"You sure? I do have to get to work, but I can late if I need to." She says stopping in front of me.

"I'm sure lets go."I say pushing on the air tank for support. She gives me a light smile as I make my way to the door. All of my things were in the car already, ready to go.

I stare at those steps that lead down to the car with a sigh.

You can do it come on.

One by one I go down till I make it to the bottom. Carol was on the phone with someone at the top of the steps still. I sigh and open the door to the car and lift up my tank and sit in the passenger seat.

"I am so sorry that took so long. Something is happening down at the sheriffs station." Carol says and smiles at me.

"It's alright." I give her a small smile.

We started to drive through the small town and everyone seemed to be up and running. It did seem very friendly. But before I knew it, we were parked in front of the hospital.

"I will say that I do have a few meetings today, but I should be able to be back around so I can eat super with you." She says helping me with my things.

"Ok." I stand while she takes my things and everyone was watching us. Im assuming because this was their mayor with some pale skinny red head that they've never seen before. Im sure that would strike them as a bit odd.

"Ok let's go." Carol says closing the last door to the car. I drag my tank behind me as citizens said hello while passing by.

We walked through the door and I was inhaled with the smell of false hope and cleaning products.

"Carol! So nice to see you! And you must be Belle Lockwood. I'm Dr. Clinton and I'll be your doctor at her stay here." He says to me with a way to big of a smile on his face.

He made it sound like I was dieing sooner then later and I was just some guest at a hotel.

"If you would follow me." He says and starts walking to the elevator. I've learned in hospitals, the high number of floor you are, they think your the bunch of people who have the least amount of chance to live. Lets see what level I score this time.

We are all inside the elevator and he pushes.....
The top floor.

Great.

When we arrive there, you can feel the death lingering in the air, just waiting to take the next victim.

There was fancy tvs on the walls, nice big rooms. We walked down a long hallway and all the rooms we passed we filled with the old and their families.

I'm to young to die.

"This is your room right here!"

I was the last room at the end of this hallway, with a giant bed, nice bathroom, and a tv.

"Well I'll just let you settle in, and then we will get started on that kemo." He says with a big smile.

I sit on the bed and stare at the wall. The bed dips beside me.

"Your mother would be so proud of what a strong women you've become." Carol gently says next to me.

"I sure hope so." I say not letting the tears fall.

"It's funny, last time I did kemo, my hair didn't fall out. Doctors said it was a miracle." I say.

"Well I'm proud of you. I never had a daughter but I would be honored to call you my own." Carol says giving my a hug. The she sniffed and stood up.

"I will call you as soon as I'm done today ok?" She says.

The all I can hear is the distant tapping of her high heels walking back to the outside world.

"Carol! How nice to see you!" Damon says rushing up to her. He spotted her walking into the grill, and he spent most of his time here.

"Hello Damon." She says with a heavy sigh.

"Hey what's up? You seen flustered." Damon says.

"Well it's just that my niece moved in with me and she is really sick. She's not expected to be around much longer. The cancer is serious and there not much else they can do for her. Shes not eating, or sleeping. Im worried sick."

Cancer Damon thought, the little she wolf has cancer.

"She's not fighting Damon. Shes done. Done."

Carol starts to cry and Damon hugs her while relishing in the new information.

I lay in bed after a long day of kemo. It made me nauseous and I would eat less then I already do. It was now dark out and I figured that Carol wouldn't show. Its alright, I'm used to it.

All of a sudden I get a knock on my door.

"You have visitors."

She lets in a girl with long brown hair, tall and skinny paired with a perky blonde.

"Hi I'm Elena Gilbert and this is my friend Caroline Forbes."
