You had been coughing and sneezing all day, whilst lying in bed feeling sorry for yourself. At around 5pm you hear the door slam shut, but you can't speak because your throat was on fire. "You hear loud footsteps coming on the stairs, then the landing. A flustered Calum opens your bedroom door. "Babe," you croak softly, sitting up. "What happened?!" he says, with a hurt and puzzled look on his face. "We were going to have lunch!" he says, clearly hurt. "I told you I was ill, I can't even swallow anything," you whisper. "Yet you could still call Luke," he says, and you can hear the anger boiling in his voice. "No, no I was trying to get through to you-" you try to explain, but you end up in a coughing fit. "I thought that our relationship was important to you," he shouts. Tears form in your eyes, as you sit there helplessly, as your throat burns. While Calum is yelling you get up, putting your bath robe on and walk straight down the stairs. As you walk past Calum, he sees your bloodshot eyes and the tears streaming down from your face and his expression immediately softens. "(Y/N)," he says and you go into the kitchen, opening the kitchen cupboard and grabbing cough medicine. As you are taking the medicine, you hear Calum come up behind you. "I'm so sorry, love, I didn't realise you were sick," he apologises, looking at his feet. You ignore him and sit on the couch, turning on the TV. "Babe, please speak to me," he says hugging you, as you keep crying. He wipes your tears with his hand and kisses you on the cheek. "I forgive you, I forgive you," you say frantically, as he goes to kiss you again you push his face away. He looks at you, offended. You clear your throat "I don't want you to get sick, baby," you giggle as he holds you in his arms. "I love you, (Y/N)," he laughs and you start to cough. "But don't cough on me," he says seriously, handing you a tissue.
