Hope's POV:

I looked over at Carli and she seemed lost in thought. She probably thinking the same thing as me. Y/n's always nervous and stuttering when she's with us. I wonder if she has any family...how can she afford this house? Did someone hurt her? Is that why maybe she stutters and always looks scared and nervous... I don't know but I'll find out eventually.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't hear the kid answering me.

Y/N's POV

I got the waters and gatorades for the girls, I was so focused in making sure I didn't drop any of them but...

"Hey Y/n" I suddenly hear Hope behind me, I didn't notice she and Carli were here until now. Hope frightened me a little bit and so I turned around nervously. No, don't get it wrong they don't scare me but they are legends and they are on another level...and i? Well I'm just me...

I looked at Hope and she seemed lost in thought as did Carli. Did I do something wrong? I hope not, I don't want them to have second thoughts about me... Maybe if I answer they'll snap out of it.

"Hi" Woah... I didn't stutter for once. Maybe I'm getting used to having them around me, ughhh I can't get attached. Don't get attached! Don't get attached! They'll leave! Don't be stupid Y/n!

"Uhm can you help m-me with the d-drinks?" Okay, not bad. Maybe if I keep stuttering they'll just think it's normal.

"Sure, here Carli you take some and I'll take some" Hope said while taking some drinks from me. We walked to the living room and put the drinks on the coffee table, I sat on the floor against the wall looking at them. I don't understand why they are here. I'm nothing special compared to them.

"Let's play truth or dare!!!" Kelly shouted

I chuckled to myself, I've seen videos of the team and I've known for a while Kelly always shouts out of nowhere. She's just like a little kid.

Hope looked at me and asked...

"Do you wanna play Y/n?" She looked at me with a worried look... Why does she always look at me with worry. I'm a nobody. She shouldn't worry about me.

"Sure, why not" I replied with a bit of enthusiasm.

Hope's POV

I was looking at Y/n and no don't worry I'm not planning anything, I'm just worried about her.

Kelly said she wanted to play truth or dare but she really doesn't look at Y/n... She's shy, maybe I'll ask if she wants to play.

"Do you wanna play Y/n?" I had to ask, it's her house and I don't want her to be uncomfortable in her own home.

"Sure" well then, she wants to play then we'll play. I noticed it's the second time she doesn't stutter. Maybe she only stutters with long responses.

"Who goes first?" Tobin asks the group.

"Me! Me! Me!" Sonnet shouts excitedly. Oh god, why did I bring children to Y/N's house.

"Okay, Hope truth or dare?" Ughh why did she have to pick me.

"Dare" I'mma regret this but okay...

"I dare you to ignore Carli for the rest of the day"

"What??? Sonnet pick something else! I won't ignore my wife" Jeez sonnet why can't she me mature for once!

"Nope you have to do it."

"Okay, okay" I looked at Carli with my "sorry look". Imma be dead tomorrow.

"Kelly, truth or dare" I asked

"Dare, cus I ain't no pussy"

"I dare you to...drink a whole Gatorade in under a minute" I chuckled to myself

"That's easy" she said while shrugging her shoulders.

"Someone put the timer on, 3, 2, 1....go!"

She was drinking so fast I nearly laughed.

"You got 10 seconds" she only had less than half to drink.... She chugged the rest but she then chocked on the rest cause sonnet made a funny face.

For the rest of them game, it was mostly truth but some of them picked dare. It was starting to get late so we had to get back to our hotel.

"It was nice hanging out with you kid"

"It was nice hanging out with you guys"

We got back to the hotel and I couldn't stop but think how Y/n was mostly quiet during the game. Maybe I'm just overthinking.

I threw myself on my bed and fell asleep in seconds.

My last thought was... I hope Y/n is okay.
