New Year, 2018.

"Shit!" Rosie gasped as she nearly got into an accident trying to cross the street, so she wouldn't miss her train.

The whole city was in a buzz as the eve of the celebration kicks in. Everyone's rushing home to get ready for their own celebrations, to their loved ones, so they could all ring another year together. The traffic was heavier than usual, the streets were filled, most especially Times Square for the famous ball drop.

She ran her finger through her hair once she reached the other end of the street, and got in the subway. She can feel her hear leaping over the sudden adrenaline that came over her, she sighed once she reached the platform and waited for the A train when her phone buzzed in the pocket of her coat.

Jennie: Prive Club, Soho. Suho got a table for tonight :)

Rosie smiled to herself and tucked it back in her coat. She had about 20 minutes in the train to think about what to wear and that's exactly what she did. Spending the New Year with her friends wasn't new to her anymore, it started during their college days and quickly became a tradition since they were the closest thing they had as family in the city.

They would usually miss one, as he or she flies back to Korea but this time all of them were present. This was the reason Rosie was more excited that usual, they never had a New Year where they were all complete.

As soon as she got off the train, her phone buzzed again. She rolled her eyes thinking it was probably Jennie being impatient but wa shocked to see who actually messaged her.

Chanyeol: Save your midnight kiss for me. xx.

Rosie bit her lip as she read the text, thinking of what to reply back.

iMessage. Sent 8:00.

Rosie: And if I don't?

iMessage. Recieved 8:00.

Chanyeol: You will. See you later, beautiful. xx.

This didn't suprise her since Chanyeol had always been flirty with her. The problem was that she couldn't stop herself from returning it, even knowing how dangerous it was playing with a person like him. He was notorious for breaking women's hearts, it was a casualty. And she witnessed it first hand, but she gave in anyway.

She tried to avoid it but he made it difficult to do so. Rosie wasn't stupid to think that she had no way out, but the way he chased her made her feel so good about herself she became addicted.

The way he spoke her name, the way he would look at her, they way he held her, the way how he knew what her mind was saying before she could even speak, was one hellf of a concoction she couldnt stop drinking.

She bit the inside of her cheek as scenarios from their meeting last night played in her mind and headed straight to her apartment.

"Ugh she's always late," Jennie pouted as Kai draped his arm over her shoulder.

They were all sat in the booth, dressed to the nines with drinks and all sorts of appetizing finger foods were right in the middle of the table. The club was packed, music was blaring with the neon lights coming along with the beat.
