Chapter 5 Burn

A spark flew from my hand like a butterfly then I started to smell smoke and I looked down to see my hands were on fire.

I was extremely afraid and Wentworth knew I was. "Its ok child. he said "your doing it so try making a fireball. Just make circles with your hands until it becomes about the size of an orange."

"Yes sir." I replied as I slowly started making circular motions with my hand and soon something round and red appeared in between my 2 hands that were still circling.

"Is this good?" I asked awaiting his approval.

"Perfect!" he shouted."Now aim then throw your fireball at that test dummy."

I stared at the dummy and focused my energy on it then the fireball flew from my hands and hit the dummy. The reaction was incredible! It bursted into flames and disappeared.

I turned around to see my mother and Wentworth smiling at me I felt like a million dollars. And in my heart I knew dad was extremely proud of me to.

Mom was almost in tears when she spoke." Son it time for you to rid the world of evil and dragons. Many citizens across Ozzilos (Our world.) need your help so I'm afraid it's about time I let you go. Return here if you feel you need more training and send me letters across the world so I know if your ok. Oh an here I want to give this to you."

She handed me a ring with a ruby on it . The texture felt rough yet smooth at the same time. I immediately knew it was a ring that dad had given her.

I grasped it in my hand and thanked mom as I left the mountain.

And it began...
