"Woah! Just look at this place Gou!" Ash exclaimed and ran around the strawberry field. They came to go on a picnic with all of their Pokemon. Gou blushed slightly at the sight of Ash's adorable face.
It's been months he found out he like the boy but could never find the right time. Maybe today, was they day he would finally tell Ash about his feelings. "We have to thank Professor Cerise for this. He gave us a day off and insisted we'd go on a picnic."
Truth is, Professor Cerise realized that Gou's behavior changed around Ash. He soon found out that the boy with red highlights liked the optimistic boy. So he decided to take the chance and tell the two to take a break and go to this strawberry field that was near Vermillion City.
"Hey we should probably set up now." Gou replied as he looked at the time on his phone.
"Alright! I'll go pick strawberries!" Ash sprinted and laughed. Gou smiled, "Wonder how i feel in love with you."

After a while, Ash came back with the berries but....had some in his mouth...
"Ash! Those berries are for all of us! Not only you!" Ash sweatdropped. "Sorry..I got hungry.."
Gou sighed in annoyance and flopped down on the floor with an annoyed expression. All of the Pokemon had sweatdropped at Ash.
Ash blinked and smiled, "I still have more though!" He slides his backpack off his shoulders and shows the berries. Quickly, the pokemon ran and ate them with joy, clearly forgetting about everything else.
Ash sat down next to Gou and smiled, "Sorry about that." Gou looked away and blushed slightly, "It's fine." Ash tilted his head in confusion. Even though Ash was the dense boy he is, he wasn't dense to his feelings for Gou.
After all, he had fallen in love with the boy as soon as they met. Ironic isn't it? Love at first sight, but this, this was different.
In his heart he knew, he was the right person. He always thought Serena was the one, but..She wasn't. Gou was. And today, was the day he would confess.
They ate in comfortable silence. Well, I wouldn't call it silence if Ash kept on munching and munching so loudly.
"Ash, stop munching so loudly." "Swrry im weally hangry." "I can't even understand you!" Ash swallowed his sandwich and grinned, "I'm really hungry." Gou gave him a blank expression and continued eating.
After they had finished, Ash and Gou started to get nervous. This was their chance. Their chance to say how they feel about each other. "Ash, I have to tell you something." "Gou, I have to tell you something." They blinked and burst out laughing, "Sorry, You go first." "No no you go."
"No it's fine you go."
"No you g-"
"Fine! I'll go!" Gou exclaimed with an annoyed tone, already wanting to get this over with.
"Well I-I um.." The boy suddenly grew nervous and blushed, "You see I..." He closed his eyes shut and shouted, "I like you!" Ash was taken back by the sudden response. He then blushed and looked away, "Y-You...y-you like me..?" Gou nodded slowly, embarrassed. Ash grinned, "Guess I don't have to worry about a thing!"
"Huh..?" Ash rubbed his neck and smiled nervously, "You see Gou..I like you too.." Gou gasped and covered his face.
This was a surprise. Gou had always thought that Ash had never seen him that way..Well clearly he was wrong.
"But I always thought that-" "Well clearly you thought wrong. In fact..I can even say that I love you.." Gou gasped and blushed slightly. They both leaned in slowly and closed the gap between them.
Sparks were felt in their hearts.
(sparks fly, it's like electricity, i might die. LMAO)
They both slowly break the kiss and smile at each other. Their foreheads touch and they intertwine their hands.
The two idiots had finally gotten together.
