prologue

Two twin brothers were on the couch in their living room, and they were thinking about the lack of attention they were getting. Their friends and family were giving the attention to their mother and step-father, and they were left out from everyone else's attention, and it increased when their little half sister was born, which they then started feeling more unnoticed, and they felt like noone is really caring about them anymore. The twin with the red headband looked down as his edgy twin looked at him with concern and said, "Still feeling left out?" "Do you feel it too?" "Yeah, I do, K.O." K.O looked at his brother and said, "I am, I know that she's our little sister, but is that a way to hug all the attention for herself." K.O's brother wiped an arm around his big brother and said, "Even our friends are giving their attention to her." "Yeah, but Dendy is the only one to give us attention." K.O said. A little girl came up to the twins and said, "Hey K.O and T.K.O, what are you two talking about?" "Oh, nothing Sarah." K.O said. "Okay, wanted to know if you two wanted to play with me." Sarah said. "Not right now kid, me and K.O are talking right now." T.K.O said. "Oh, okay." Sarah said as she walked away. T.K.O looked at K.O and said, "Sorry buddy, I just didn't want our conversion to end." "Okay." K.O said. The front door opened and a woman, a man, a blue alien teenage boy and a tanned skinned teenage girl came into the house and Sarah went to the group with a smile and showed them a picture of herself with the group at what appears to be a store, but what the drawing lack was the twins. "Wow Sarah, that is a good drawing of us." The girl said. "Yeah, you are good at this." The alien said. The parents were happy too, and the twins looked at their joy and noticed they won't in the drawing. "She didn't include us again." T.K.O said. The group walked into the kitchen, and the pink haired girl saw the twin and said, "Oh, hey K.O and T.K.O." "Hey Enid." K.O said. "Sup?" T.K.O said. Enid walked up to the two and said, "What have you two been up to?" "Oh, the usual." K.O said. "Mah." T.K.O said. Enid looked at the edgy twin and said, "What's up?" "Oh nothing, he's just emo as ever." K.O answered for T.K.O. "Hey." The goth brother said. Enid saw the tension with the twins and she said, "I can tell something's up, just tell me." T.K.O felt like he had enough and he looked at Enid and said, "You know what? That's it." T.K.O got off the couch and said, "We have had it with how you and the others look over us like we're not there." Enid was taken by surprised and the others came in as shocked as Enid was and Carol said, "T.K.O, what are you even talking about?" T.K.O glared at his mom and said, "Oh stuff it, Mom. You know what I'm talking about. Oh wait, you don't because you don't even notice me or K.O anymore since you married our boss, and it got worse when that girl was born." T.K.O said as he pointed at Sarah. The group looked at T.K.O and he said, "Yeah, you heard me. You guys don't even recognize me or K.O anymore." "Dude relax, we do recognize you two." The alien said, only for T.K.O glare at him, which made him back up a bit and said, "Oh shut up Rad. You and the winja didn't even like talked to us or wanted to hang out with us, your guys just paid attention to Sarah instead of us, and when me, K.O and Sarah we trapped by Boxmore and you saved us, you and Enid and our parents just paid attention to Sarah and treated her wounds, and we had to treat our own wounds without your concern and help." The group understood what the edgy young man was getting at, and he teared up and said, "Why? Why did everyone in our lives have to abandon us like that and start focusing only on a little girl?" "Sweetie, we do have focus on you and your brother, we love you two." Carol said to reason with him, but her response was, "If you love us then why not show it like you used to?" T.K.O teared up more and said, "I can't take it anymore." T.K.O grabbed K.O's wrist and he ran away with K.O as he dragged him along, and the group looked in shock and Mr. Gar looked at Rad and Enid and said, "Go get them before they go far away." Rad and Enid nodded and they ran outside after the twins. With the twins, they were hiding in a field of trees, while Rad and Enid were calling out their names as they searched for them, and K.O said to his little brother with tears in his eyes, "I didn't mean to think about that." "Yes, you did." T.K.O said to his older brother, who looked with tears and he said, "Have the right to have those feelings." K.O still cried and said, "I want to go home." "We can't." T.K.O said before he continued, "We have to stay with each other for now on." The two stil heard Rad and Enid, and K.O asked, "What about Dendy? She pays attention to us still." "I know, but she can't come with us." T.K.O said, regretfully. The twins got up and they started walking away from the neighborhood, while Rad and Enid continued to search, only to stop when they couldn't find them and decided to give the bad news to Mr. Gar and Carol, who couldn't handle the fact the twins are now gone as they were now crying as well as Rad and Enid, including Sarah, who felt guilty for not helping with the situation of her older brothers were having. With the twins, they were walking away from Lakewood now, with K.O looking back at the city he grew up in as he was now living it behind with his twin brother to a new life in a new land, wherever it might be.
