This story is told from Rosalie's perspective.
As a Teacher's Assistant, I was usually helping Mr. Aizawa in 1A, but I was also sometimes sent to other classes that needed assistance. I quite liked this because, while I had become good friends with lots of 1A, my two best friends were in other classes at UA. Hana, the daughter of pro heroes Sirius and Ms Joke, was in the support course. Bani, the child of Mirko and Ryukyu, was in 1B. I loved getting to see them while doing my job.
While class 1A worked on their ultimate moves, Nezu asked me to watch over the support class, since their teacher was helping upgrade costumes. When I walked into their classroom, Hana's deep blue eyes lit up. She looked so much like Sirius, who I had helped in a work study years ago. That's how I met Hana. Now, she was working on something that looked like it would go around someone's wrist.
"What is that?" I asked her, eager to get her talking about her passion.
"Oh, it's supposed to shoot out disks to harness electrical charges! It's for someone's hero suit, Hatsume asked me to help her out with it. I probably won't get any credit though, since it's her design."
"Man."
"It's fine, though! I'm having fun making it anyways!"
"Good! I'm just supposed to watch your class while your teacher is gone."
"Well, then keep an eye on that guy," she said, gesturing to a blond in the corner of the room. "Risuku. He's not a bad guy, but he has a lot of energy, and he likes to play around with risky ideas a lot."
"Wait, Hana, is that the one you said you liked?"
"Well, I mean, I did, but I don't anymore!" she stammered, starting to blush.
"Chill, it's fine if you like him, even if I don't understand the appeal." Hana was pansexual, but I only liked girls.
"Really, I don't anymore! I used to think his recklessness was cute, but now it seems more annoying."
"Man, we really need to hang out more. Want me to ask Bani if all three of us can hang out later?"
"Yeah! I'll have to check with my moms, but we could probably hang at my place!"
"Cool. I'll stop by 1B when I leave here." With that, I left Hana's desk and starting checking on the rest of the class. I played a little game in my head of guessing what the different devices they were creating were for. Shoes with steel soles were probably for someone who mainly uses kick attacks. Thick armor would most likely be for someone with low durability and agility from their quirk. I certainly wasn't an expert at support, but I'd seen a lot of devices in the field from my work studies.
After making my way around the classroom, I considered going back to talking to Hana, but before I could even look back at her, someone yelled, "Risuku, what are you doing?!"
I pivoted to see what the panic was. Smoke was emitting from a canister on the boy's desk. The kid next to him looked scared for his life.
"It'll explode!" he exclaimed, his voice trembling. I started getting scared myself. I let the panic take over my mind and spread through my body, then I leapt towards the desk. I focused and created a shield on my wrist, then shoved past the kids and planted the shield on top of the canister, holding it down with all my strength.
"GET BACK!" I demanded of the students near me.
I didn't see exactly what happened when it exploded. I opened my eyes, and I had fallen back. The desk was cracked in half, collapsed on the ground. My shield was gone, either broken from the blast, or my focus had faltered.
"Ro! Are you okay?!" Hana rushed towards me.
"I'm fine." I turned to Risuku. "What was in that? Could the fumes be harmful?"
"Nah, it was a basic chemical reaction. Nothing harmful should remain in the gaseous state." He seemed completely unfazed by the damage he'd caused. I could feel my hair and eyes turning a bit red.
"Rozu? Aren't you going to punish him?" Hana asked me quietly.
"Nope. I don't have the authority to punish anyone. Don't worry, though, I'll tell Power Loader about this when he gets back. I would like everyone to step into the hallway for a bit, though. There's a decent bit of smoke in here."
Hana helped me herd the class into the hall, then looked at me with concern."I told you he's reckless."
"Yeah, you were right. I should have kept a better eye on him, like you said."
Before she could reply, Ectoplasm, the pro hero and UA mathematics teacher, cane running down the hallway.
"What was the explosion?" he demanded. The entire class pointed at Risuku.
"He created some sort of canister that blew up. I contained it with a shield, but there was lots of smoke, so I figured we should wait in the hall for it to clear out a little.
"Oh. Good job. Any destruction?"
"Just a desk."
"Nice. Good job, Six. I'll let Power Loader know right away. You guys can stay in class 1G for now."
Six is my hero name. It comes from the number of abilities I switch between, the number of colors my hair and eyes change to, the number of emotions that affect my quirk. Purple is panic, when my fight-or-flight instinct is activated. It lets me create shields, which are stronger or weaker based on how strong the panic is, as well as my concentration. It also slightly increases my speed.
I ushered the class into our temporary classroom. I explained the situation to the teacher, and the students sat around the edges of the room. I sat next to Hana, and we made plans for after school until we could return to our own room. We got back at the same time as Hatsume and Power Loader, who was already aware of the situation.
"Hey, Fukukado! Kamihara! Did you guys finish the stuff I asked you for? I need to run it to the 1A kids!"
Hana and another kid handed their projects over to Hatsume. It was the kid working on shoes with steel soles. For someone in 1A? Maybe Iida? Who else would use kick attacks?
"Nomura, Aizawa wants you back. Thanks for the help," Power Loader told me. I said goodbye to Hana and returned to 1A, with one stop.
