Jace's pov
"I was in a really bad mood cuz my dad asked me to clear my schedule for the week, like the whole fucking week". I went out of my office to go to the important meeting that my dad was talking about. I was texting Sean then i bumped into someone.
" hey watch where you're going" i said
"Um i'm sorry but aren't you the one meant to be watching where you're going" the girl said
Now i wasn't the kind of person who allowed anyone to talk to me anyhow so i said "do you know who i am"
"I don't give a damn about who you are and i also don't want to know who you are" she said
"Oh and for the record, the next time you bump into someone, apologise" she said and walked away
Well i'm Jace Norman and i get whatever i want so i'm going to make you regret that you ever talked to me in that way.
3rd person's pov
Jace didn't know he bumped into Riele but he was soon going to find out who she is and what their dads had in mind for both of them.
Riele's pov
"As i walked away i said to myself, "what a jerk then i headed to my dad's office and i saw him waiting for me with Mr. Norman but i also saw a flash of anger in my dad's eye but Mr. Norman looked pleased to see me."
"Good afternoon sir", i greeted Mr. Norman
"Good afternoon Miss Downs please have a seat" he said
"You're five minutes late" my dad said
"I'm so sorry dad but i got caught up with a problem but i handled it" i said smiling sweetly at my dad but in my mind i was thinking "i wish you were the problem and i handled you"
"Shall we start with the meeting"
i asked my dad
"No dear, we're still waiting for Mr. Norman's son"
"We all looked up when we heard the sound of the door opening then i saw the same jerk that bumped into me earlier"
You!
You! "we both said at the same time then both or dads stared at us in confusion but Mr. Norman decided to speak up"
"It looks like you've both met each other" he said and smiled
"Let me introduce you to each other" he continued
"Riele, meet my son Jace Norman and Jace meet Riele Downs" he said
"We both stared down at each other before going to shake hands"
"Nice to meet you" not but i muttered the last word to myself
"Nice to meet you too" he said to me but he clearly didn't mean it
"So you must be wondering what this big business deal is about" Mr. Norman said and looked at my dad
"Why don't we all take a seat" Jace said
"We wanted to do this before but we also wanted to make sure that the both of you knew about it and you're going to go through with it no matter what you say or do" my dad said
"Sure Mr. Downs but what is it?"
Jace asked my dad
"This is it" my dad said pulling out some papers
"We're getting both of you married to each other" my dad finished
What! I exclaimed getting up from where i was sitting
"You can't do that" i said to my dad angrily
"Yes Mr. Downs you can't do that" Jace said equally angry
"We have already done it" my dad said smiling. "I and your father signed an agreement stating that if you two get married then we'll become business partners and have branches of our business around the world".
"But dad you didn't even ask us about what we think and you just signed an agreement without us giving our consent" i yelled
"That is no way to talk to me young lady" my dad said
"Ok, ok let's settle down and discuss" Mr. Norman said, "without yelling" he said looking at me
