Readers POV
After emailing Matt, I decided to use the rest of my day off to relax, by taking a bath. I turned on the water and let it fill up and added bubbles. I watched them swirl around the bath as I got myself ready to relax. I got in, it was quite hot, but not enough to burn yourself, just right. I slowly sank into the bubbles which had now settled and let the water flow around me. This was my happy place, (sorry if you don't like baths or don't own one) no one barking orders at me, just the sounds of water swirling around me in the tub, or music if I wanted it. I sunk down in the bath and let my thoughts consume my mind. I thought of my job, how lucky I was to make a living out of something I really enjoyed. I thought back to when I first started, I must me honest with myself, I'd never thought in my wildest dreams I would be editing for someone as big as SuperMega. It's my biggest job yet, even thought it's not forever, I'm glad that I could edit some of their videos. After around twenty minutes in the bath, I got out. I changed into my pyjamas and decided to check my emails just once more before I went to bed.

Matts POV
I was shitting myself, what would I say to her? How could I even bring up LA, never mind inviting her to come here, should I tell her about our editing equipment? Or should I just start by asking where about she lives? Is that creepy? Maybe, we'll I don't have any other ideas so I'll just go with that.

Hey y/n! Just wanted to say hi! Also, I have only just realised that I have never asked where you were from? Matt :)

Readers POV
I saw an email from Matt, asking about where was I was from. So I emailed him back something along the lines of: "Hey Matt! Well my hometown is (your hometown) but three years ago I moved to San Francisco." I did wonder why he was asking this question, was he just curious? Who knows.

Matts POV
She said she lived in San Francisco... that's only like a six hour car journey to LA. I was beyond happy, now this is the tricky part, trying to get her to come to LA. So I wrote her another email.

Well I live in Glendale, LA. It's pretty cool, it's hot as fuck though. However, we do have some good retro arcades, you should visit some time! Matt :)
My heart was pounding, I had figured that I did have some feelings towards y/n, it was strange, I had never had slight feelings for someone I had never met- hopefully I will meet y/n one day.

Readers POV
I saw Matt had sent me another email, the subject was about LA? Oh, he was talking about how he lives in LA and how... I should visit. Butterflies started swarming my stomach, Why was I feeling this way? I couldn't like Matt, I had never met the guy before. My mind drifted back to LA, I had always wanted to go ever since playing GTA San Andreas and seeing the famous Santa Monica pier. It was so picturesque. I had even saved up around $500 to go one day, but I had to spend that on editing equipment. I emailed Matt back saying that I would love to go to LA one day, but I am unsure on when I could fit it into my busy schedule. Matt soon emailed back saying that they have computers set up with editing software, so if I ever wanted to "experience LA" I could go but bring my work with me. After a lot of emails back and forth, Matt offered to drive to San Fran and pick me up and we would have a road trip back to LA. This would take place next week and I'd stay in Matt's spare room. I was very excited however I was quite nervous as I had never met Matt and he could be a sketchy guy for all I know. But I put that at the back of my mind. I emailed Matt goodnight and fell asleep with thoughts of LA consuming my brain.

Matts POV
Holy shit! She was coming here! Next week! I offered to take her and she said yes. I was going to put her up in the spare bedroom in my apartment. I was super excited to meet y/n as we have emailed back and forth a lot recently and she seems like a really cool person, some may think I'm moving fast, but I think I'm living in the moment. I ran to the living room to tell Ryan the good news. "That's so cool dude! I'm really excited to meet the famous y/n!" "Shut up Ry!" I laughed.
The next couple of days leading up to me going to San Francisco to meet y/n really dragged. Everyday we were getting closer through the emails. One day she asked, "why are we still using emails? We literally follow each other on Twitter! We could easily just DM each other." I replied with "that's not very fun though :/" I really enjoyed talking to y/n, she was such a cool person. On Saturday we happened to get onto the subject of GTA. It turns out that is one of the reasons why she wanted to come to LA- to see the Santa Monica Pier. I emailed her back "what about me? Didn't you want to come to LA to see this face?" She emailed back saying that she hadn't actually seen many photos of me, except my profile picture on Twitter, and I must admit, it's not a very good one. I decided to keep the element of surprise in by not ending her any pictures of me. She told me that she was excited to meet me though, she said she thought that I was a cool guy, and if she found out I was actually really sketchy it would be a bummer. We played GTA 5 for a while after and we spoke to each other in real life for the first time over game chat. Her voice was soft and sounded kind. We played GTA for a few hours until y/n got tired. I was going to San Francisco early Monday morning- to hopefully get back to LA late Monday.
*little time skip*
Today was the day! I got in my car at around six in the morning to start the journey to San Francisco. I was beyond excited. I had my playlist with my favourite songs in it. I listened to it for the whole journey, except when I stopped for a toilet break. After around thirty minutes since my last stop I saw the sign saying "Welcome to San Francisco!" I was nervous and excited now... not a good mix. We had exchanged numbers the day before and she told me her address so I knew where to go once I got to San Francisco. I decided to text her to let her know that I would be at her house soon.

Matts POV
I saw her text and carried on driving. After around five minutes I pulled up to her apartment. She was standing there with her suitcase in front of her and was on her phone. I decided to scare her by beeping my horn. She jumped a little bit and looked up and saw me. At first she looked pissed off until I waved at her and realization wiped over her face. She suddenly ran over to my car where I was getting out and shouted "MATT? Is that you?!" "Sure is!" I said happily considering I was very sleep deprived after that long six hour drive and not getting much sleep the night before due to excitement, but that didn't matter now. It was all worth it when I saw her smiling at me. She ran over to me and gave me a hug. She was a bit shorter than I thought she would be, but not by much. She pulled away from the hug and looked at me. "Wow it's so strange seeing you, like I haven't properly before." She poked my cheek with her finger. "Are you real Matt Watson?" I decided now was my chance to crack a joke, "Because I'm that attractive you cannot believe that I'm not some kind of sexy robot?" Her face turned into a pout "No silly! But you are cute though" she tapped my nose with her finger and walked off to get in the passenger side of my car. My face heated up as I just stood there. I was soon taken out of my daydream and looked at y/n. "So are you just gonna leave your suitcase there?" I asked her. "No silly, I thought you'd be a gentleman and put it in the car for me, it's really heavy and  had to carry it down my stairs." She pouted like she was trying to make me feel sorry for her. I picked up the suitcase and she was right, it was heavy. I put it in the trunk and got in the drivers side of the car. I started up the engine. "Off to LA we go!" Y/n said happily.

A/N: Heyoooo I'm back with another chapter! Hope you enjoyed!
