Readers POV
We had been on the road now for about an hour. Me and Matt had talked quite a lot during the car ride. We found out that we both love Japanese culture and we both talked about our trips to japan. Matt talked about Ryan and how they had met all those years ago. It was strange how me and Matt got along so well. We had known each other for only about a week now. I only have just realised how crazy this actually is. "Hey, you okay y/n?" Matt brought me out of my daydream. "Yeah I'm okay, just thinkin' that's all" I replied "hmm, 'bout what?" Matt asked. I replied to him with "I don't know, this is all super crazy, I'm not usually this spontaneous but I don't know, I'm kinda glad that you emailed me about the editing now." I smiled at Matt and he looked back at me (not for too long as he was driving) and gave me a smile, he's super cute I have to admit. God what am I saying. I literally met him about an hour ago...calm down y/n, don't get too ahead of yourself.
*Time Skip*
We had been in the car for about 5 hours now, Matt said that we were around 45 minutes away from where he lived. I really enjoyed this car ride. Usually I'm not one for road trips, but with Matt it was different. We had also learnt a lot about each other, we spoke about family, friends, jobs and music. Matt was a super cool guy and I'm really excited to get to know him even more. I suddenly started to feel really tired so I scrunched up my hoodie which I had taken off a few hours prior and I made a makeshift cushion to support my head against the window. I slowly fell asleep.

Matts POV
I started talking to y/n about how well she was going to get along with Ryan and the tucker bros when I realised I wasn't getting any response from her. I turned to her to see her sound asleep next to me. She was way cuter in person. And when she called me cute, I could feel my cheeks getting hot. Y/n is a super cool person. And I'm looking forward to getting to know her better in the coming weeks.

Readers POV
I woke up to Matt singing. It was so cute it was ridiculous. I pulled out my phone and started recording him. He noticed after around 30 seconds and stopped and turned bright red. I stopped recording and said "I'm gonna record some stuff for when I get back to San Fran and I get all sad and stuff." "Awww that's cool! We are around 5 minutes from my apartment building by the way." I looked around and saw sunny LA. It looked just like I had imagined. Sunny beaches, skaters on the sidewalk and palm trees. This was super cool. It was like I was living out my childhood fantasies of living in LA..except I wasn't as everything is expensive as fuck here so no way could I live here all the time. "Woah this is so cool!" You said to Matt as you were looking out the window. "I couldn't get over it when I first moved here, it's pretty cool here." Matt replied. After around 5 minutes we were pulling up to a building which I can only assume is Matt's apartment  building. "Here we are" Matt stated. I got out of the car and was hit by the LA heat. I opened the door to the back and got out my heavy-ass bag and dragged it to the sidewalk. Matt soon rushed over to me and took it off me "such a gentleman" you giggled. "M'lady" Matt put his arm out for you to go first into the apartment building.  You got into Matts apartment and you were met with the tucker brothers. You were kinda nervous to meet his friends as you wouldn't want them to be disappointed by you or anything. You shook one of their hands, it was Jackson. He seemed like a pretty cool guy. Then you met Harrison.

Matts POV
I saw y/n shaking hands with the tucker bros. I looked at her and he looked happy, which made me happy. I went over to we're they all we now sitting at the couch. They were already getting along so well. They were asking her about San Francisco and what it's like there. Y/n looked at me when she was talking and smiled at me. She was so cute. What the fuck am I thinking? I've literally only known he for a week and I have literally just met her, what is wrong with me? "Uhhhhh earth to Matt?" I heard Jackson say which pulled me out of my head. "Sorry, what were you saying?" I asked the three. "We were just telling you how cool it was that you asked y/n to edit and how you became friends through those emails." Harrison said. Y/n started giggling to herself, and if I'm honest, it was fucking adorable. My cheeks flushed red. "What are you laughing at y/n?" I asked her. "Nothing, I just think this all quite strange. I didn't even know who you were a month ago, now I'm standing in your apartment in LA, it's just unbelievable! Really cool though!" I agreed with her, it was strange. But I had to thank my past self for sending her that first email, if I ding she wouldn't be standing there meeting my friends. "This is really cool and all, but I have to admit, I'm really hungry!" Jackson said. "Yeah I agree, I'm starving" y/n agreed with Jackson. We got a Chinese takeout and ate it in my kitchen. "So, when do I get to meet the famous Ryan Magee then Matt?" Y/n questioned me on when she would meet my best friend. "Well I gotta go to the SuperMega Plex to make some videos with Ryan tomorrow actually, that is where all the editing equipment is actually y/n. You can come with me to meet Ryan and to do some work it you want to." Y/n smiled at me "Yeah that sounds really cool!"

Readers POV
I was really excited to meet Matt's best friend, Ryan as he seemed cool and Matt told me some funny stories about him and I wanted to meet him to see if they were indeed true. A sudden wave of tiredness wiped over me. I told Matt that I was tired and Jackson and Harrison agreed that it was getting late. Matt took me to the spare room to get it set up. "I'm in the room next door if you need anything, it's been really cool meeting you today y/n. I hope you have fun while your here, otherwise those emails were for nothing." Matt joked. "It's been cool meeting you too Matt, goodnight!" "Goodnight y/n." Matt Shut the door and I collapsed on the bed. I hadn't even gotten changed into my pyjamas yet but I didn't care, I was too damn tired to do so. My mind drifted back to Matt and how we had met, Thank God for emails.
