I don't know if you guys are banging your heads against your computer screens, thinking WTF IS THIS??! because Alex and Webster's story ended on a playlist that you don't even know the name of.
I don't know if you guys are even happy with the ending of this story because, well, it's kind of like this story just ended suddenly, isn't it?
Because it did.
And you're probably all like:
That's great, but can you tell us about the last playlist please? Or how about Alex's reaction to Webster walking into his swanky café? Please tell us that Alex and Webster get their happy ending!
Ha.
The thing is, I'm not going to tell you.
I'm not going to tell you what the final playlist is called.
I'm not going to tell you if Alex and Webster get together in the end.
But feel free to think what you like.
I mean, we all want Alex and Webster to live happily ever after.
After everything they've been through, you'd think that they deserve to be together in the end.
Yes, call me weird because all this is just a fanfic and I'm probably being a creep about it, but sometimes I forget that I plucked Alex Gaskarth out of reality and plonked him into my story. (Let's pray to god that he never finds this).
Anyway, I guess you're all probably sharpening your pitch forks and putting on your war paint (Subtle Fall Out Boy pun) but before you attack me, I will tell you this:
I gave Webster and Alex a new beginning.
Just like Rainbow Rowell gave Eleanor and Park, just like John Green gave Hazel Grace;
I gave Webster and Alex a new beginning.
Sure, it's not the ending you want, but it's something.
And something is better than nothing.
