Chapter Song: All Too Well by Taylor Swift
~Track 25 on 'I Miss You' (made by Webster)
Alex
Six months.
It too him six months to get his life back on track.
But not once did he forget about her.
He had got a job at Starbucks, and surprisingly, Alex loved the cafe life. He loved the smile on people's faces when he remembered what coffee they liked. He loved making people laugh when he remebered their names. He loved waiting on people, singing to the music in the cafe as he wiped down the tables, everything about the industry made him smile.
It had taken a long time, but he had finally mended the relationship between him and his skunk-haired friend.
Brianna had started to talk to him again after he had paid his rent (with a little help from Webster) and she had even decided to work at Starbucks with him, which was pretty cool because although they were always making jokes out of each other, they both loved each other's company.
But even though he was finally getting a new life while leaving his shitty old one behind, there was always something--no--someone pulling him back.
And after six months of tips from old ladies and a little help from Brianna and Jack, he had finally done it.
He had saved up for a ticket to Ireland.
And he was on the plane, right now.

The more she thought about it, the more she started to believe that only six months had passed and not twelve.
She was starting to forget about him like he forgot about her once.
Everyday she could feel herself forgetting little things about him, like the way he walked down the street, was it two hands in his pockets or one? Or the way he would look at her when he thought was wasn't noticing his eyes on her, but heck she felt those hazel eyes on her nearly all the time when he was around.
She was forgetting him like she had forgot her dad and her sister.
Slowly disappearing from her mind, but never quite leaving her altogether.
Alex
"Welcome to Ireland, sir!"
"Ehhh...thanks."
Alex couldn't feel anything but awkward ever since the plane had landed in Ireland. They were all so damn friendly in the country, or maybe it was just the flight attendants trying to get his attention.
He was praying it was the first theory.
He sighed as he grabbed his backpack from the belt, and started to make his way towards...towards where? Why were all the sign posts in fucking irish? Brianna had said they spoke english in Ireland and that irish was an extinct language.
Clearly not.
He cursed as he tried to figure out what 'Sli Amach' meant.
"Is this even a language?" he grumbled as he stared at the sign like an idiot.
"You do know that the english is under it, right?" laughed a flight attendant as she strolled passed him, batting her eyelashes at him.
He flicked his eyes to under the sign.
Exit.
"Thank you." he said as he nodded politely at the girl, careful not to make eye contact with her boobs.
