Midoriya's POV
'Take a swan dive off a roof'
Those words kept repeating in my head like a broken record. No matter what I do, I can't get it out of my head. After Kacchan and his friends left, I exit the school building to the pond full of Koi fish where my Hero Analyzing journal landed. As I get closer I see the Koi fish nibbling the journal.
"....Stupid fish.....This isn't food.."
After I retrieve my notebook, I shake it a bit and look at the damage its taken. Walking to my house, I decide to take a short cut through the tunnel. I sniffle, then start to sob. I drop to my knees and start to sob louder.
Suddenly I started shaking then angrily yelled in agony.
"I WISH I HAD A QUIRK!!!!"
I yelled particularly at nothing. Flashbacks of my childhood and my mom apologizing like if it was her fault for having a quirkless son. I was starting to lose hope of becoming a hero. I hadn't noticed my surroundings changing a bit, sinister. That is, until I heard a cheeky yet sinister voice speak..
"Hey kid! Want a quirk so badly? Then how 'bout a deal?"
