Chapter Five

It's time your majesty." I hear the guard say and I smile at my reflection once more. I step out of the closet and all the maids gasp. Nurse Jennie walks over to me and smiles.

"You are a vision, and you'll be an amazing queen." I nod and Eiza takes my arm, Cassy holding her other hand. I hear the girls on the otherside of the door giggling as it opens.

"By the gods." Lilia says an Eliza shoots her a glare.

"Sorry mother, Xia looks like a goddess though, Selene is sure to be proud, and Dustin is going to fall head over heals for her even more so." I smile as we all begin to walk down to the Ceramonial Hall. As we reach the doors, I'm lead to a partition so that no one could see me as the King, Queen, Prince, and Princesses all walked in. As I stand there I hear someone approach and I muffle a gasp.

"Mother, sisters, you look stunning." They all laugh and Lilia pipes in.

"Wait till you see her." I hear a thump and Lilia whimpers.

"Shush." I hear Eliza say as the doors open. They all walk though the doors and they shut again.

"Princess Xiomara, please come to the door." I hear the guards voice and I come out and stand infront of the door. Squaring my shoulders I smile when I hear the violins. The doors open and its a wave of hushed gasps. I begin to walk and I look forward, I see Dustins back firt, my eyes fixed on his square broad shoulders. As he turns I smile and his face lights up in awe. I see the tears and I fight off my own. The isle ends and my hand finds his.

"You may be seated." I hear the familiar voice and I look up to see Selene and Surya in each others colors.

"People of Solaris, we are here today to witness the mariage and coronation of Dustin James Payne and Xiomara Dawn Nocte, both children of gods." Surya starts and Selene continues.

"This union is not only a union of a Prince and Princess, but the union of two Blessed, I am honored to marry my daughter off to the Son of Surya." She says looking down at me.

"This union will not only strengthen the family, the crown, or the kingdom. No thi union will strengthen the nation of the gods. I am honored to marry my so of to the Daughter of Selene." Surya smiles at us and looks up.

"Dustin do you swear to protect Xiomara, and the children you will have, do you swear to fight beside her regardless of how much you fight with her, do you swear to love her until your last breath?" Selene asks Dustin and we turn to each other.

"I do." He says and I blush.

"Xiomara, do you swear to stand beside Dustin in war, and in peace, do you swear to fight alongside him regardless of who stands on apposng sides, knowing your soul is his, and his is yours, do you swear to love him until the sun sets on this life, and every life after that?" Surya asks me and I turn to Dusin tears in my eyes.

"I do." I whisper, smiling.

"Good, by the power bestowed upon us by the mighty Nyx, we herby pronounce you man and wife." They say in unison.

"Dustin, kiss your girl." Selene winks and he smiles pulling me to him, our lips smashing together. The kiss was heaven, my heart feeling so full, my head feeling like I was floating. It ended too soon and Dustin forehead rests on mine.

"I love you Xia, and I am happy your father chose me." I nod and smile, the tears smearing my make up, but I dont care. As we seperate I look up and Selene is smiling.

"We aren't done yet thoug. We still have to take our coronation vows and get our crowns." Dustin nods and I smile as the kingdom quiets and Selene clears her voice.
