Hello everyone! Yay, the sequel's here! Okay, so I'll be making some stuff up as I go, so I'll probably have to take some time to go back and fix some things. Also, updates won't be as fast because this is the first mystery I've written, so it will take a lot more planning. I'm still figuring some things out, but I thought I'd give you guys the first chapter (and honestly, I couldn't wait any longer XD).

"Dad!" You screamed, watching horrified as your father was shot in front of you. The man turned to you, the darkness from under his hood spreading out and pooling at your feet until you were no longer standing on solid ground, but sinking in sticky, hot tar. It oozed into your shoes and soaked your jeans through. When it reached your face, you squeezed your eyes shut and held your breath.
"I told you not to get in my way little girl," the man's voice echoed, and it was the last thing you heard before loosing consciousness completely.
You awoke in a pool of sweat and tears.
"(Y/N)?" Hiro came tearing from the living room, his hair ruffled and his eyes wide. You forced a smile.
"S- sorry Hiro, bad dream." He sighed, and came to sit down next to you on the bed.
"You were screaming bloody murder (Y/N). You sounded like you were... dying or something." He took a shaky breath.
"It was... just about my dad you know -- I'm fine now, go back to sleep." You rested your forehead on his, and gave him another reassuring smile.
"Okay (Y/N), if you're sure." He leaned over and planted a tender kiss on your lips. You closed your eyes, not hesitating to kiss back, before pulling away and trying to hide your red face. Hiro chuckled, getting up from his seat.
"In the two years we've been dating, you still blush every time we kiss." He smiled mischievously at you, and you glared at him, tossing a pillow at his face. He caught it and threw it back.
"Goodnight Hiro." Hiro walked to the doorway.
"Goodnight (Y/N)."

You'd turned sixteen exactly a month ago, and Hiro just a few weeks before that. You hadn't changed much in the past two years, just grown a bit taller, but Hiro had changed considerably. He'd finally gotten his growth spurt, and he wasn't quite as skinny as when you had first started dating, with only the tiniest bit of muscle added to his arms and legs. Though, he still acted like the same little kid you'd known when you and your father first moved to San Fransokyo.
"(Y/N), good work out there!" GoGo slapped your back, slipping on her helmet and positioning herself on top of her motorcycle.
"You too!" You called after her. She waved at you before taking off down the road.
"See you next week (Y/N)," Fred slung an arm around you, smiling goofily. You laughed, shrugging him off and nodding. Honey Lemon waved at you, looking incredibly happy doing so, and followed Wasabi down to his car (he was giving her a ride home).
"You ready to go (Y/N)?" Hiro came up behind you and handed you your backpack.
"Yeah."
You walked down the front steps of your university, lacing your fingers with Hiro's as you walked.
"Hiro?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you feel at all sorry for that woman? I mean, she's spending the rest of her life in a cell..." Hiro turned to look at you incredulously.
"(Y/N), she kidnapped four teenage girls!" You sighed and looked at the ground.
"Yeah, I know. You're right." Hiro wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer to him.
"Hey, it's okay, you did great. We deserve a break. Movie tonight?"
"Yeah, that sounds good."
