(Rewrite) Walk to school

Saiki layed in bed going over the day. ‘School, ramen, snake, Kaidou…’ Saiki paused. ‘Kaidou? What’s so special about Shun Kaidou? A cute blue haired boy with a hero complex… wait,’ As if on queue an empty glass on his table shattered. Saiki sighed. He got up and picked up the glass before rewinding it. He layed back in bed just staring at the ceiling until he fell asleep.

Saiki woke up to his alarm going off. He stood up and rubbed his eyes before getting out of bed to dress. After taking a quick shower and eating some Coffee Jelly Saiki was ready to leave. Grabbing his bag, Saiki was about to open the door but froze.

‘I hope Saiki didn’t leave yet.’ ‘Why is Kaidou here?’ Saiki wondered, deep in thought. He was startled by a knock on the door. Saiki opened the door and was inches away from Kaidou who was a light pink. Saiki suddenly felt his own face heat up a little bit. “H-hey S-Saiki.” ‘Why is he nervous?’ Saiki wondered. Kaidou coughed, “U-um. I w-was wondering if y-you wanted to walk to sc-school,” Kaidou paused in order to cough, “w-with me?” Saikis face heated up a bit more and his eyes widened. “S-sorry. It w-was a s-stupid quest-tion.” Kaidou quickly said. Before the boy could walk away the door closed behind Saiki.

Kaidou was surprised. ‘What am I doing?’ Saiki thought as he looked at Kaidou. ‘Why? Why him? Why did I have to fall for him?’ Kaidou quickly questioned himself, staying still. His thoughts were spirling. “Kaidou?” Saiki interrupted. Kaidou looked up to Saiki's face. ‘Did he really just talk?!’ “We should start to walk or we’re going to be late.” Kaidous face lit up, “Y-yeah. Lets go.” The two stepped off of Saikis porch and started to head for school.

‘Come on Kaidou! Get your head out of the gutter!’ Kaidou scolded himself, ‘It’s just, Saikis voice was so… nice.’ And with that, Saikis face became a dusted crimson red. “Saiki are you ok?!” Kaidou paused, “Y-your face is pink.” Saiki suddenly became aware of the warmth on his face and felt it skyrocket. ‘What’s going on?!’ Saiki at this point was silently freaking out, he’s never really felt anything and all of a sudden this shit comes out of nowhere. “U-um,” Saiki couldn’t form a sentence. “Are you feeling ok Saiki?” Kaidou asked, stepping forward concerned. At this point Saiki didn’t really trust his voice and nodded. Kaidou eyed him suspiciously but trusted him. “Ok then.”

The two reached the gate soon after. “Hey Saiki?” Kaidou asked, before they got into school. “Would you want to hang out after school?” ‘Please say yes. Please say yes.’ Saiki nodded just as they passed through the door. Kaidou lit up, “Great, I’ll meet you at the gate after school.” Just then the bell rang signaling first class. As soon as Kaidou was out of sight Saiki sighed.
