I woke up to my alarm and checked my phone. its Friday. the day me and nick get to go on our date. I was so excited. lucky for us we didn't have detention today the school was using the classrooms for some presentation but hey doesn't bother me. today was another day of me just not wanting to have to talk to anyone in my family. I normally was full on for family bonding but recently there changing and I don't get it. but who's to say its not just me who's changed. I sat there for a while contemplating even getting up today or even having to see them. I decided avoiding them was better for today as I don't want to be put in a bad mood when later I should be having fun with nick. I just don't want my day ruined. I got up and got ready and got dressed.

I decided to sneak downstairs and make avocado toast as I think everyones in there rooms getting ready. I went down and luckily I was right no one was there. I made my food and turned around about to go upstairs and eat it when veronica was just standing there.
veronica: have you been avoiding us?
zinna: wha-
veronica: I know what happned with Vinnie yesterday
zinna: I-
veronica: who was that guy you were with?
zinna: he-
veronica: you know I always thought it would be him to cheat not you
zinna: wait wait wait you think I cheated?!?
veronica: eh well I saw you choose that other guy over Vinnie?
zinna: me and Vinnie broke up ages ago
yes I know it wasn't ages ago but I had to tell her something
veronica: why did you break up with him?!?
zinna: well maybe because I walked in on him making out with maria?!?
veronica: and I bet he apologized
zinna: and?!? he still cheated on me with who WAS my BEST FRIEND
veronica: damn your dramatic he treated you so good I could only wish for someone like him
zinna: your joking right?!? I've never been treated worse! and I'm not gonna waste my time with someone who doesn't support me like you! I thought family was supposed to be helpful not be a bitch
I ran to my room. fuck. my day off to a bad start. I grabbed my bag a finished eating and headed to school. I walked outside to see veronica pulling off in her car so I flipped her off. and went on with my day. fuck her. I arrived at school put my stuff away and went looking for the others. I found them but no charli.
