Nick Jonas- Sick on tour in Switzerland

So lately I've been listening to both of my Jonas playlists on YouTube and the episode of "Living the Dream" where the boys are in Europe and they're in Switzerland when Nick gets sick keeps popping up and so I thought I'd make a chapter about it and add it to this book but make it seperate from my "lucky me" book but at the same time related to the book just not a chapter in the book unless I want to add it later on.

The boys were currently on tour in Europe while also filming their mini series "Living the Dream" for Disney. They were in Zurich ,Switzerland for the latest stop. Everyone was amazed at how big the area they were staying in was. Of course being the first time there, their schedule was very crazy and hectic with multiple different interviews. And for Nick a busy schedule means very few breaks to eat and check his levels. Plus it being a new country and being winter time, he had to take extra precautions as not to fall ill.

It's day 10 of our European tour and we just arrived in Zurich,Switzerland. Its our first time in the country and we are all amazed at how big and beautiful the area is. And since it's our first time performing here our schedule is crazier than before. I could tell I was getting sick on our way to press interviews. My throat was scratchy no matter how hard I tried to clear it. My dad asked me if I was alright and I told my dad how I was feeling and told him my troat was bothering me but I was still fine enough to do the interviews know he would make me sit out if I felt really bad.

Knowing our parents our health comes before music. In the car I kept telling myself that I would be fine as long as I didn't think about getting sick or else it would definitely happen and that's one thing about touring that I hate the most. It's one of my biggest fears mostly because I'm afraid of my levels acting up and also letting down all the fans that bought tickets for the show and waited for us to come to their city or country.

I woke up the next morning feeling worse than I did the day before. I thought if I went to bed early and get enough rest I would be fine but that's not the case. I probably got worse the more I thought about the show we had to do. I had to call Andi and let her know what was going on. I called her last night when we were done with interviews. She was concerned about how bad my voice sounded when we talked. I knew it was late back home but she told me to call her once I was awake. Even being in different countries and a 9 hour time difference between us, we still tried to talk as much as we could.

So I grabbed my phone and called her. "Hey babe, feeling any better?" She asked me when she answered. "Not really. I have a cough now and my throat still hurts." I started coughing after that. "Aaww honey, I'm sorry you feel so awful. I know how much you hate being sick, especially on tour and in another country. Have you tried taking anything yet?" "Yeah, my mom was able to find me something. Knowing my dad, he'll probably make me see a doctor if I still feel like this later when it gets closer to when we're supposed to leave for the arena." "Good, now have you tried eating something also. I know you probably don't have much of an appetite with your throat bothering you."

"Yea, mom is making me eat some soup since it's light and easy." "Good. I'm going to try and get some sleep now it's almost 11. But let me know what goes on, OK?" "OK I'll try. Give Bells my love please." "Always do sweetie. She's already asleep. Went down around 9. Told her what I always do when you're not with us, that you love her, miss her and can't wait to be back together." I smiled when she said that. "Get some rest sweetie, I can tell you still feel bad. And don't try to do the concert later if you still sound as bad as you do. I don't want you to risk your health just to please your fans." "But what if I just play my guitars, drums or piano and not sing?"
