Your POV
I was dreaming, that much I could tell, but this feels all too real. I was in a cave with my brothers and Sams friends, it was dark but the three boys that were with me had flashlights. The cave seemed almost empty, but when you look up... Dwayne and three blonde men are hanging from the ceiling, fast asleep.
The boy who wore a bandana climbed up on a ledge in front of the small one and pulled out a wooden stake. I tried to yell at him to stop, but it was like he couldn't hear me. He drove the stake through the vampires heart, waking it up as well as the others. My little brother and his friends screamed and ran out, the smallest vampire died.
My dream cut to my house only now it was nighttime, I watched everything happen as if it were a movie. The vampire that looked to be from a Twisted Sister album cover was pushed into a tub of holy water, he died. The man with a spiked mullet was staked by a pair of antlers going through his chest, he died almost instantly.
But the worst one was Dwayne, Sam shot an arrow at him but missed. I called out, I didn't want this to happen. The second arrow was shot and it hit my boyfriend straight through his chest. The arrow hit the stereo system behind him, the electrocution is what killed him. It hurt to see his body go limp.
It felt so real. Too real.
I woke up in a cold sweat, my body curling up and shaking. I felt like I was going to vomit, that dream was not a dream. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, and a body sit up and press itself against me.
"Baby, what's wrong? You seem pale?" Dwayne observed carefully, he began rubbing circles on my back.
"It's..." I felt my stomach lurch, "I'm gonna be sick." I whimpered before scampering off the bed and to the bathroom.
Dwayne quickly followed after me, he rubbed soothing circles on my back and kept my hair away from my face. He fixed my hair so it wouldn't fall into my face, he made sure I was okay before he kissed my temple and stood to get something. When he came back he placed a cold washcloth on my forehead, and began rubbing my back once again.
"My poor baby, what happened?" He asked me curiously.
I took a deep breath and answered shakily, "It was awful, I had dream... no a nightmare. I had a nightmare, I was in a cave, and you and two-three other guys hanging from the ceiling. You were asleep, and I was there but nobody could hear me. The little one, he had curly blonde hair styled in a mullet, he got stabbed in the heart with a wooden stake. He was stabbed by one of my brothers friends from last night.
"And the taller one with the crazy hair was pushed into a tub filled with holy water, it was gross to see. The pale one with the almost white hair was staked by a pair of antlers that my brother pushed him into. And you... it was awful."
I couldn't help but cry thinking back to my boyfriends death, it was so terrible and violent. And my own brother is the one who killed him.
"How did I die, honey?" Dwayne inquired.
"My brother shot an arrow through your chest and it hit the stereo behind you, you were electrocuted. It was so gorey, and hard to watch, but I couldn't look away." I cried, sobs wracking through my body.
"Come on, let's get your teeth brushed, then we'll get you some water, and then... we'll go back to bed. Everything is going to be fine." The man in front of me insists, "I promise, baby." He kisses my hand then helps me stand and brush my teeth.
Once my teeth were brushed, Dwayne lead me back into the bedroom and sat me down on my bed. He left the room and I heard him go downstairs, I heard some cupboards opening and closing. This made me giggle, I looked over to my twins bed and saw him laying there asleep. I curiously looked at my clock and saw that it was 3:47 in the morning, about an hour before sunrise.
