Y/N is leaving for Seoul, South Korea to study abroad. She only has one friend out there, but other than that she doesn't have much experience out there. When she finally starts college though, she makes plenty of friends. However, one of them stand...
Sitting on your bed for one last time before going off to college in Seoul, you think about the past four years of high school. You had a few friends here and there, but none that you would get to spend time with in college.
You started to think about your family and how far they would be when you miss them. Although, you liked being with friends and family, you knew that you were going to have many new opportunities in college to meet people and attend parties.
You worked hard for the opportunity to get into Hanyang University, your grades and school resume exceeded the expectations to get into many colleges around the world. So when you got the opportunity to study abroad, you couldn't pass it up.
You had brushed up your Korean language skills and made sure to do research about the local culture and customs there to be able to get around better. You finished packing up your bags and tidying up the room before rolling out your suitcases and saying your final goodbye to your room.
Your mom and little brother were waiting for you in the driveway to take pictures of you as you leave the house. After a few minutes of pictures and final packing adjustments, your mom pulls out of the driveway. This is it, in a few hours you would be in Korea starting a new life.
-24 hours later-
Your taxi driver leaves you at the front of your new studio apartment that you worked really hard through your high school years to save up for. This studio apartment was quite close to the inner city and close to Hanyang University which was quite convenient for you. You go into the apartment and start to unpack what you would need for the night since you were too tired to fully start unpacking.

After getting settled a little, you call your mom and let her know all the details about the long flight and that you made it to your new place safely.
You videochat your friend Minseo to tell her that you are finally in Korea. Minseo was so excited to hear that you made it safely to Korea, you met her online a few months ago and you are going to meet her soon in person.
She also will be attending Hanyang University, but class doesn't start for another 2 weeks.
After your call with Minseo, you take a quick shower and head off to bed for the night.
Next morning-
Waking up in your new home was quite odd, it hit you that you were far from home and that you would be experiencing something completely different than the past 18 years of your life.
However, you also realize that you hadn't eaten anything since before you got off of the plane. You go and get ready to leave the house and walk to the nearest cafe.
When you walked into the cafe you noticed a group of boys who were grouped together in a table near the back, they were speaking quite loudly. Nonetheless, you go to the front and order an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

There were some empty seats near the front register so you decide to grab your breakfast and sit there. Before your stomach can growl once more, you bite into your sandwich and take a sip of your iced coffee.
Your phone dings and it's a morning message from Minseo, but as you go ahead and start typing your response, you are interrupted by one of the guys from the loud table.
He was tall and buff, dressed in all black and had a bad boy demeanor. But, his large brown eyes and bunny like appearance also came off as cute.
"Excuse me, I think this belongs to you, it must have fallen or something,"the boy says.
You look at the object in his hand and it's your Totoro keyring.
"Yes, it is mine thank you so much, I hadn't even noticed it was missing," you reply.
"My sister has one just like it," he replies. (Let's pretend JK has a sister ;P)
You laugh awkwardly since you are kind of shy and don't know what else to say.
He reaches out his hand and says "I'm Jungkook, nice to meet you."
You go to grab his and say "Nice to meet you too, I'm Y/N".
You made eye contact with him and you were in awe of how attractive he was, not just physically but something about the way that he carried himself made your heart race a little when he grabbed your hand. It felt like you were shaking hands with him forever and you were in some sort of trance.
Out of nowhere your phone rings and it's from the one and only Minseo. You let go of Jungkook's hand and get up to pick up the phone walking towards the front of the store where it was more quiet in order to hear Minseo.
She called to go shopping for some decor and items that you should have in your home. She would also be helping you unpack and set up some things in the house. Of course you agreed, not only would you be going shopping and getting house work done with some help, you were finally going to meet your best friend in person.
You go back to your table and notice that Jungkook was no longer there but was back with his friends at his table. You notice that not only he was attractive, but the other 6 guys that he was with were good looking as well. You thought to yourself "Damn, they are cute."
After that brief pause of looking at cute boys, you finish your food and clean up after yourself. You leave the cafe and receive yet another message from Minseo, but this time it was the directions to the nearby IKEA where you guys were going to meet up.
You get on the corresponding bus to meet your friend for the first time.
