TRANSLATIONS WILL BE
AT THE END OF EACH EPISODE
In a couple of minutes we would start our way to Sirmione. Meanwhile I was distracting myself, I read a book but then started to appreciate the view from the first floor window. And while doing so I encountered Beatrice entering entering the property with her bicycle. She stopped when she saw me in the window and smiled at me.
"Cosa stai facendo?" She asked me.
"I'm going to the Lake Garda with my dad" I said smiling at her. "He wants to show Kairi where he's dredging"
"Can you tell him I came by?" She asked and I nodded.
"He is inside with my dad helping him" I informed her. "You were amazing last night, on the dance floor"
"È un bravo ballerino" She said smiling.
"A good dancer" I repeated what she said and chuckled. "He's also good looking"
"Want to get us together?" She asked smiling timidly.
"No" I answered smiling. "Come in"
After some minutes passed by, everything was ready for us to go to Sirmione. So I came outside were the car was and opened the door of it. Beatrice and Kairi walked out of the house smiling while hugging and speaking. When they were in front of me and the car they stopped and he whispered something in her ear. She smiled and he kissed her cheek, to then separate.
He walked of to the car, and went to the side opposite to mine. Beatrice god her bicycle and slowly disappeared our of my sight. He opened the door of the co driver seat and seated in it to then close the door. I looked inside and looked at him.
"My father sits up front with Angelo to navigate" I said and he got out of the seat. I looked at the direction that Beatrice went to. "She seems to like you a lot. She's more beautiful than she was last year" I said to then look at Kairi. "I saw her naked on a night swim once, great body"
"Trying to get me to like her?" Kairi asked looking at me.
"What would be the harm in that?" I said.
"No, no harm" He opened the door of the behind seat and entered. "Just typically like to go at those things on my own, if you don't mind"
I didn't respond and entered the car too, now I was close to him in the back seat.
"Just don't play on being the good host" Kairi said and looked away.
Great, now it got uncomfortable and it was my fault. My father came out of the house with Angelo and they got in the front seats. He started to drive and we got to Sirmione in half an hour. We meet with my fathers friend and he showed us what he found. It was a statue, apparently they were getting it out of the water but the arm of it was already out. Kairi had it in his hands right now.
He was admiring the art of the statue, and how the arm of it was apparently detached forcefully. I looked at him and my father went with his friend to help get the rest out. Got closer to him and extended my arm towards him.
"Tregua?" I asked and he looked at me.
Kairi smiled and extended the arm of the statue to shake my hand. And I smiled to then laugh, I heard my father calling us and Kairi putted the arm down. I got closer and the statue was already out of the lake. Came to it and touched it, the face and remarks reminded me of him.
The person who I just made a "truce" with, hopefully like this I won't need to avoid him. And hopefully he won't avoid me either.
"Ti assomiglia" I said, directing myself to Kairi.
