|First Impressions| K. Akaashi

"Where are you Bokuto" I mumble as I walk to the volleyball gym. Bokuto and I were supposed to be on our way to go pick up my little brother form the day care. He knows he's my ride so where is he. 

I looked down as I was typing when I hit the wall. I looked up as I rubbed my forehead. There was no wall but a 6 foot man, but not just any man, he was beautiful. Men ain't got nothing on him. 

"you alright there" he said as he took a step closer and inspecting me. 

His angelic voice. Bye I am simping 

"Yeah. I- sorry about that." 

"no worries. I'm assuming you're here for Bokuto right."

"yeah I am."

"figured. so you're the girl who's going to kill him when you see him." He said so casually 

"I what"  I asked surprised "He said that. What a baby." 

He chuckled 

"Hey Bokuto, someones here to see you." 

Bokuto made his way over to us, but very slowly. 

"hey sky." he smiled and I sorta gave him a small little glare. "I am so sorry Sky. I know I'm your ride but I have to stay longer for practice. 

"You could have called me or something so I can let the babysitter know."

"Oh My God!! I didn't think of that."

"Why am I not surprised." the wall guy said. "Now tell her why you have to stay longer."

"well it all started right after school. I was making my way to the gym but then I saw that the vending machine was full with all the snacks so I got one and then I started talking too people that were there. I lost track of time and before I knew it Akaashi came and got me. " he pointed at the boy next to me 

"You're the famous Akaashi" I said 

"famous" he asked pretty confused.

"Bokuto talks about you a lot." I looked at him and smiled. 

"Akaashi is such a great friend that he agreed to be your driver for today." 

"You don't have to." I look at Akaashi 

"Its no problem I was about to head home anyways." 

"Thank you you're a life saver." I then look at Bokuto and point at him. "And you captain get back to doing those drills."

"Fine" he pouted but nonetheless got back to work.

I followed Akaashi to his car. Let me tell you this guy makes driving so easily. I might just ask him to teach me.

"Akaashi I just want to thank you for being there for Bokuto." 

"Of course. He needs a best friend who won't kill him on the spot." he laughed 

I looked at him and blinked a couple of times "did he really say that."

"Yup. I was genuinely concerned at first because Bokuto is well Bokuto so I was like what the hell did he do now, but then he told me and I just found it funny."

"Look everything he said about me is probably not true. I mean you can ask some of the guys on the team. They know me kind of." 

"You know I was wondering. You are Bokuto best friend as well but i have never seen you around you know."

"You know you're right, its probably because of our schedules." I look at him "well then let me introduce myself properly. My name is Sky and I have been friends with Bokuto since we were little. I like to read, I'm a second year and yeah that's about it."

"Nice to meet you Sky. My name is Keiji Akaashi and I am vice captain of the volleyball team and have been friends with Bokuto for 2 years, I'm a second year as well."

"Bokuto says that you are a pretty great setter. I might just have to go to tomorrows practice game and see for myself."

"Is this the place." he had stopped the car.

"yeah." I got off and went to go pick up my little brother. I thanked the lady and apologized for being a little late. 

Akaashi was waiting standing next to the car. My little brother followed behind and saw Akaashi. He pulled my shirt and asked "who that."

"That is Akaashi, Bokuto's other best friend." I said as he looked at Akaashi. Without a second thought he hugged Akaashi. I could see it in his face that Akaashi was startled but nonetheless he picked him up.

"well hello there little guy you ready to go." my little brother nodded and Akaashi put him in a baby-seat. I stared at his back as was buckling my little brother. This guy is literally father material. That all I'm going to say. Anyway so why does he have a child's seat in his car. Is he an older brother.  he got in the car and I followed after.

"Bokuto got the baby-seat from his car and gave it to me." 

"Oh okay that makes sense I thought you had a little sibling or something."

"nope only child. Now if I recall correctly, you said you'll go to the practice game tomorrow right"

"yes sir. I said that."

"well then I'll see you there."

"You bet you will." I smiled "so you said you're an only child right" he nods "so then why are you so good with kids." 

"one word Bokuto" I laughed 

"sounds about right." I noticed we were nearing my place but honestly I'm enjoying this. Sure its just a ride but it's not boring or awkward at all.

"You know I was a little surprised your brother hugged me. Bokuto said hes a mean little kid." 

I turned to look at my little brother and he had fell asleep. By then Akaashi had parked right in front of my house. 

"Akaashi look at me straight in the eyes and tell me this kid does not look like a sweet little angel."

"You're right. Bokuto must be exaggerating." Akaashi got off and carried my little brother inside. 

"Thank you for the ride, and I'm sorry for taking some of your time."

"Like I said before" He put my little brother in the bed. "Don't worry about it. Anyway see you at tomorrows match." he smiled. 

I smiled back as and waved as he left, got in his car and drove off.

Hey this is the first little story. This will more likely have a second part to it. Anyways this isn't my best work but I enjoyed writing it and I hope you guys enjoyed reading it. Request are open. Thanks for the support -C
