I take Groff's hands in mine. When the time comes for us to say our vows Groff goes first.
"Lin, I have loved you since the moment I first met you. I never imagined that one day you would be mine. Of course, that's all I wanted, but you make all my dreams come true and I can't wait to see what our future together holds. If you're playing the part of Eliza then I hope that I'm your Hamilton," He said making us all chuckle, "Without the cheating though. I am so excited to share my life with you and I hope you're as excited as I am."
"Jonathan Drew Groff, I've loved you for a long time. I would lay down my life if it made you happy," I said half-singing. "I love you and I'm so ready to share the rest of my life with you."
~Time skip to the reception~
"Give it up for the maid of honor Phillipa Soo!" Anthony said making us all laugh.
"You guys mean so much to all of us, I'm excited to see you guys grow old together. I want so much for you two and I can't wait to see all your future achievements. Congratulations!"
"Now for Vanessa Nadal's toast!" Anthony turned to us with a slight glint of fear in his eyes.
"Lin and Jonathan I am so happy for you guys and I can't wait to see your future together play out. But first, A toast to the groom," We all repeated, "To the bride" again it was repeated, "To your union," instead of repeating we said "To the revolution"
"To the hope that you provide, To the hope that you're always satisfied!" We all laughed as she finished. "Congrats you two you look great together!"
Jonathan and I stand up. I start first.
"Thank you all for coming tonight. We appreciate all the love and support. You have made today truly special. I just might remember this night for the rest of my days!" we all chuckled. Then Jonathan started his piece.
"Yes thank you all for being here tonight. I hope that Lin doesn't regret tonight for the rest of his days-"
"I could never!" I said cutting him off.
"- Okay phew. Anyway, I love you all and hope you had an amazing time today!"
The DJ started a song. It was the song for our first dance.
We danced through the whole song just smiling at each other. I'm sure we looked like complete love sick idiots but right then and there I didn't care because my world at that time was just me and Groffsauce. When we finished our dance the song Hide away came on.
Everytime Daya said where do the good boys go to hide away Jonathan would look at me and say "I don't know but I got one right here." Causing everyone there to say aww and then start laughing. When we were cutting the cake Jonathan smashed it in my face.
"Oh! Jonathan That's not funn- mmm that's really good" I said causing everyone to laugh even more.
After the festivities Jon and I walked home hand in hand from central park. When we got to our apartment door and I pick Jon up bridal style, kiss him gently once, and carry him through the door. When we got inside I set him down on the couch and walk to the bookshelf full of movies.
"What movie do you want to watch tonight?" I asked tilting my head to the side to look at him. Jonathan had his head laying on the arm of the couch.
"Umm, I think we should watch one of our all time favorite Disney movies, The Little Mermaid!"
"O-M-G I agree amazing choice Groffsauce!" I half shouted making him laugh. I grab the DVD and pop it in the Xbox. I fast forward through the advertisements at the beginning and hit play. I walk to the couch and sit next to Jon. He sits up and laid his head on my shoulder.
"Lin am I dreaming?" He asks me tilting his head a little so he can see my face.
"What do you mean dreaming?" I ask. Truly confused at what he means.
"I mean that I'm married, married to you." he says completely catching me off guard.
"Jonathan Drew Groff! Why are you so self-concious? Yes you are really married and yes you are really married to me. I don't want to hear that kind of thing out of your mouth ever again do you hear me?"
"Yes, Yes I hear you. I just have trouble believing myself to be good enough for you."
"Jonathan you aren't just good enough for me you're so much more than I deserve. Now stop being so self-concious and let's watch our movie." I said trying to get off the topic. I always hated how self-concious Jon is. He is perfect and he doesn't see that.
We sit through the movie and when we get to the "Kiss the Girl" scene I leant over and kissed Jon. He looked at me like I was his everything. In that moment all I could think was how he was my everything. He was my sun, my moon, my stars. He was the flowers to my garden. He was the cookies with my milk. And he was mine. And I was his. Completely and irrevocably his. Forever and ever. After the movie we were both pretty tired so we headed to bed to get some sleep. After all we did have a big day tomorrow. We were flying to Italy.
