Everything is slipping away
The light from the sky slows and fades away
The car parked in the driveway leaves once again
Everything keeps moving on and on
The things in this world continues to move even as we stop
Light shifts
Night rises

Yet this world is still here
Things will continue on as they always have

Sadness

Fear
Things will never stop moving forwards
Even as some things stay the same
