Eren's POV

"Order in the court!" yelled Darius Zackly

I glared at the other side of the court room where Recon was standing as the plaintiff with a bunch of other Russian soldiers standing behind her. I stood in the defendant side with my team, fighting for Erwin's innocence. Erwin was handcuffed onto a pole in the middle of the court room while civilians and other military officials watched from the back. Zackly was the judge with Reiner and Historia sitting next to him.

"We have the evidence, everything, what is there to argue about?" asked Recon

"What if you were the one who changed the footage?!" yelled Connie

"Connie, not now." said Jean

"There's no point in changing the footage. Plus it's impossible for anyone to change the footage that quickly." said Recon

"Defendant, please remain silent until you are given the order to talk." said Zackly

"Sorry your honor." apologized Hange

"Plaintiff, anything else you would like to say?" asked Zackly

"Yes one more thing." replied Recon, "I believe Scout team 104 is working with Ghost team 117."

The court room starts erupting in chatter and I nearly gasped but restrained myself from showing any sign of weaknesses in me.

"What makes you think that?" asked Zackly

"Over the course of hunting them down, not a single member was killed in action." said Recon

"Ghost Team worked with us, how can they possibly kill us?" asked Mikasa

"I know Ghost better than anyone here." said Recon, "He'll kill you if you stand in his way, yet he still haven't killed a single one of you, injuries don't count cause he'll injure anyone on his team."

I stood there frowning at her with the rest of my team.

"Also, my team picked up a communication between Eldia and places where Ghost team were over the past week." continued Recon, "Which means that one of you is cooperating with them."

"Is that true Section Commander Hange?" asked Zackly

Hange stood there not knowing what to say.

"We also picked up those transmissions." blurted out Armin

Everyone turns to look at him and I could see some fear in his eyes.

"We've been trying to find out who's communicating with them for the past week, we thought it would be easier to handle this on our own instead of telling you." continued Armin

"I see." said Zackly

Recon didn't seem to buy Armin's statement but let it slide which I let out a sigh of relief.

"Erwin Smith, is there anything you would like to say?" asked Zackly

Erwin looked up to Zackly and frowned.

"We're facing someone far bigger than Ghost team." said Erwin

"That's to be determined." said Zackly, "For now, you'll be confined in your room, no access to any technology, no visitors and you can only leave the room when there's something involving you."

"That's it?" asked Recon

"We don't know for sure if he did it, the evidence may just be a flaw." replied Zackly

Recon raised her eyebrow but just nodded.

"This ends the court trial." said Zackly and he smacks the desk with his hammer
