Virgil sighed and grabbed a bottle of water from his bag.

"Emo Nightmare! Come and sit with The Breakfast Club!" Roman yelled, waving him over. Virgil moved and sat a little closer to Roman.

"Why've you called us The Breakfast Club?"

"Because our situation is pretty similar to the plot in the film." Roman explained in between bites of his sandwich. "D'you not have any food?"

Virgil shook his head. "But I'm not hungry."

Remus sighed. "I'm still bored."

"You're always bored, Remus." Roman snapped. "But yes, it is boring here. I should be at play rehearsal."

"What's the play?" Logan asked.

"Newsies."

"Let me guess, you play Jack." Virgil said, smirking and taking a sip of water. Roman nodded, grinning.

"Only down side is that I have to kiss a girl." Roman pulled a face, making the others laugh. Janus sighed.

"I agree with Remus. I'm bored. Why can't we play truth or dare?"

"Because it's a shit game and always ends up with me kissing someone I don't want to kiss." Virgil snapped.

"I don't know, I'd quite like to play." Roman said. The three boys (excluding Virgil, who had put his headphones on) all looked at Logan. He sighed.

"I suppose playing a game would be adequate." He said, wondering what he had gotten himself into.

Logan finished the last essay with a flourish. "You know I'm only doing this because you said you'd pay me." He muttered, handing Roman his essay. Roman gawked at the hand-writing.

"Calculator Watch, where did you learn how to copy hand-writing so well?"

"I've been forging my parents signatures for years. Now, I believe we were going to play truth or dare?" Logan said, a small smirk crossing his face.

"Do mine ears deceive me or did Logan Brown just admit to doing something wrong?" Janus asked good-naturedly, still receiving a glare from Logan.

"Virge, you playing?" Roman yelled. The emo shook his head and continued to listen to the music blasting through his headphones. Roman shrugged and returned his attention to the small circle of boys sitting on desks in the middle of the Hall.

Janus started. "Logan, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

Janus looked around the room, thinking. "What was your first thought when you saw your boyfriend?"

"First thought? Most likely 'Now I know why everyone was making such a big fuss over the exchange student'."

"Wait a fucking second!" Remus yelled. "You're dating Patton?"

Logan shrugged and nodded. "That poor, poor boy." Remus muttered, earning a laugh from Janus. Logan scowled. "Roman, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Who do you have a crush on?" Roman opened his mouth to protest but Logan cut him off. "We all know that you have a crush on someone, we aren't..." He eyed Janus." All complete idiots."

Roman sighed. "Virgil." He mumbled in the smallest voice possible. "Remus, truth or dare?" He asked, his voice getting slowly louder and higher.

"Dare. You're all cowards."

Roman grinned. "On the contrary, dear brother of mine, we are just smart. I dare you to kiss the most attractive person in this room."

Remus could feel his face turning red but he didn't hesitate as he pulled Janus by the collar of his shirt, connecting their lips quickly. He pulled away quickly too, leaving both him and Janus wanting more. Roman was giggling madly but Logan's face was stony.

"You'd better not break his heart as well." He muttered.

"I have a feeling I won't." Janus mumbled, reaching up to softly touch his own lips, confused by this new wave of emotions.

"It's my turn, right?" Remus asked, grinning. "Right, Janus. Truth or dare?"

"Truth?"

"What was your first thought when you saw me?"

Janus could feel his face turn slightly pink and heard Roman give a loud, fake cough that sounded a lot like the word 'narcissistic'.

"First thing I thought? Probably 'Now I've got a new light at the end of the tunnel' or something like that." Janus lied. He didn't want Remus to know that the first thing he'd thought was that Remus was a new prize for him because now Remus was so much more than a prize.

"Roman, truth or dare?" Janus asked. Roman chose dare and Janus' eyes glinted with trickery. "I dare you to go over to Virgil and to kiss him."

Roman shook his head but eventually went over to Virgil among chants of 'do it'.

"Emo?" He asked, tapping Virgil on the shoulder. Virgil pulled his headphones down around his neck. "They want me to.... kiss you."

Virgil could feel his face light bright red and was glad that he had remembered to put foundation on that morning.

"You don't mind, do you?" Roman asked. Virgil shook his head and stood up. Roman leaned in but stopped just before he closed the gap between them, having second thoughts about it. Virgil rolled his eyes and leaned forwards, doing Roman's job for him.

Virgil felt Roman's arm snake around his waist, pulling him in closer. He smiled against Roman's lips but pulled away, leaving Roman very flustered and confused.

"I guess I'll join now." Virgil said, winking cheekily at Roman and plopping down on a desk. "Snake-Face, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Why don't you tell Remus what you really thought of him when you first saw him and what you think of him now." Janus opened his mouth to protest but Virgil cut him off. "Janus, I dated you for a year and a half before you cheated on me, I can tell when you're lying."

Janus sighed. "Fine." He snapped. "When I first saw Remus, I thought he could be my new prize. Now, I know that he's not just a prize. He's a person and I guess that he is special to me now."

Virgil grinned triumphantly as Roman's watch read 1 pm. They were free.
