*Click* She woke up dazed at the sound of a camera shutter. She rubbed her eyes lazily as she looked around.

Did I really hear that? she thought to herself as she sat up in her bed. She shook the stupid thought away as she stretched her arms out. She lives in a well-off neighborhood.... By herself. Nothing to worry about, right? She rolled out of bed slowly and checked her cell phone. The time read 10:00 AM on her large phone screen. She yawned once more before getting dressed into a sort of professional work attire. She wore a high-waisted black skirt with her white blouse tucked into her skirt. She let her black hair fall as it brushed a little past her shoulders. She then grabbed a briefcase from the closet, put her black heels on, and grabbed her car keys. She turned around in a rush as she exited her apartment and bumped into somebody. Her keys clattered to the floor as a cardboard box did as well. She quickly looked up and saw a guy around her age looking at her. His black hair was swept back as it complemented his milky complexion. She was struck by a little surprise at how good-looking her new neighbor was, but she was interrupted by his voice.

"I'm so sorry," he said softly. His voice was like chocolate. So sweet that it lingered. They both bent down at the same time for her car keys. Their hands brushed each other's and he pulled his hand back abruptly at the contact. She didn't move that easily because she felt his warmth. Yes, the addictive warmth. He picked up the car keys and handed it to her. She slightly blushed as she gave a soft thank you and gave a small bow to him. He rubbed his nape shyly as she scurried off towards her car. She was running extremely late already. The neighbor chuckled at her cute actions before picking up the box and heading over to his apartment, right across from her's.
