The Scenery (Kim's Seokjin's Sister)

Chapter 9

Crystal opened her eyes before closing them due to the blinding white light.

"She's awake!" someone yelled. She heard a rush of feet as she adjusted to light and sat up in the hospital bed. She looked up and saw all of Bangtan in front of her, even her brother who stood awkwardly at the end of her bed.

"What happened to you Crystal?" Jungkook asked worriedly as he held her hand. She gave a slight smile as she pulled her hand away and tried to remember what happened. Camaro, tailing, car crash, footsteps, Im Jaebum. Her eyes flew open as she tried to catch her breath.

HE'S BACK! Im Jaebum is back!

Seokjin looked worriedly at his sister as she started to hyperventilate a bit.

"I... um... well someone tailed me and crashed into me," she said. She knew the only way to get her brother back was to come clean why she didn't look for him until after the car crash that killed their parents.

"Mom, we shouldn't be running from him! We should be fighting him!" Crystal exclaimed as they packed their belongings for the millionth time. Her mom turned around and grabbed Crystal's shoulders.

"Honey, if someone killed your father wouldn't you want vengeance for him?" she asked. Crystal nodded her head.

"Well this young man will kill us if we don't do as he says," her mother said before packing thoroughly. Crystal huffed before through her bag into the car. The family had been blackmailed for years by the son of the killer her father had killed. Apparentlyhe threatened to kidnap Crystal and wed her since he was 'in love' with her, if they didn't do what they said. She liked to call him an 'obsessed sociopath.' Her mother took a usb drive and handed it to Crystal.

"If anything happens to your father and I. Look into this usb and follow your instincts," her mother had told her. She didn't understand until later as they drove to the airport.Her father was looking at the rear view mirrors as a camaro drove up their tail and pushed their car forward. It pushed and pushed until the family's car ran into a huge delivery truck, instantly killing her parents. Crystal was semi-conscious as she heard a voice while someone stroked her hair.

"I'll come for you my baby, just wait a few months," -Im Jaebum.

Crystal woke up in a hospital greeted with flowers from yours truly. She snuck into the nurse's station and plugged in her usb to find files on the South Korean Gang "Bangtan." That's when she saw her brother again. She was set on making her mark to get to her brother and even went through martial art training and training in the police force. She was physically prepared and mentally strong, until now.

After telling Bangtan about her stalker, not the usb, they stood there astounded. Seokjin especially. He stood there shocked with worry written all over his face.

"Don't worry Crystal, we'll protect you," they said with confidence. She rolled her eyes.

"I appreciate the offer, but I can protect myself," she said before wincing to get up.

"We have your back," Seokjin said as he stopped her from getting up. "And I'm not going anywhere this time." Crystal's eyes teared up as Seokjin hugged her, she missed his embrace. The rest of Bangtan were confused, but Jin quickly cleared it up. Crystal also cleared up the matter of Jin running away by revealing her parent's whole conversation.

"So you're telling me that Mom and Dad said that to drive the killer into targeting just them and not us?" Jin said as he sat on the couch near my hospital bed.
