A Walk Through The Park

Ch. 4

This is the family now, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, and Sana have all promised themselves to take care of Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Jihyo, Mina, and Tzuyu. Well now that Chaeyoung and Dahyun are studying for their test on Monday, and Tzuyu, Jihyo, and Mina are playing in the room it's all okay. Nayeon and Sana sat on the floor in front of Chaeyoung and Dahyun, they looked up at them confused, Momo and Jeongyeon were behind them. Nayeon chuckled "So who were those girls yesterday?" Dahyun looked at Chaeyoung, then Chae looked away leaving Dahyun to answer "Uh, they are our friends?" Nayeon had a straight face eyeing Dahyun "Who are they really?" Dahyun sighed "The bullies of our school, when we got kicked out we started to become so busy taking care of Tzuyu, we had dirty clothes, so these girls took advantage when they saw us not doing so well. We would 'owe' them money, even though we don't, every week." Chaeyoung nodded, but didn't look up from her book.

Sana sighed "How much do you have to give them?" Dahyun shrugged "They just take all the money we have that day" Momo was thinking, then thought of something "Don't pay them this week, Friday we go to the park. We will stick up for you and they will leave you alone" Chaeyoung looked at Dahyun, Dahyun shrugged "You need to make decisions too" Chaeyoung shook her head "The last time I made a decision it wasn't fun" Dahyun hugged Chae "It wasn't you're fault, you just thought what was best" The others were confused, but didn't question it, so Dahyun nodded "I can trust you guys, right?" Sana nodded and Jeongyeon smiled "Let's go to sleep. Tzuyu, Mina, and Jihyo will sleep in Jihyo's room. Me and Nayeon will share a room, Momo and Sana you take the guest, and Dahyun and Chaeyoung take my room."

Chaeyoung was about to stand up, but Dahyun stopped her "Don't even Chae" Chaeyoung slumped back "Can I just sleep here, I want to walk" Nayeon picked her up "You are so light, and nope you can't walk" Nayeon walked to Jeongyeon's room, and set Chae on the bed, and squatted down "Let me take one last look at your ankle for tonight." Chaeyoung nodded and just laid back in the bed "And I am 12 years old, I can't just be picked up" Nayeon unwrapped her ankle and took one last look at it "Are you in pain?" Chaeyoung shook her head then nodded "Yes, but not as before" Nayeon nodded "Okay, just stay off of it. Also I am 16 years old, and I can pick you up. How many times have you guys skipped meals?" Dahyun shook her head "I don't know, we kind of lost count" Jeongyeon walked in with an extra blanket and turned on her fan "So here just in case" Nayeon stood up after wrapping Chae's ankle again "I don't want to hear you girls ever skip a meal, you are both still growing like your sister, so you still need to eat."

They both nodded, they will admit that Nayeon can be intimidating when she is serious. Just a few seconds later a small Tzuyu ran in "Unnies, can I sleep with you?" Dahyun nodded and pulled Tzuyu on the bed, then looked up at the 2 oldest "Thank you, we can try to pay you ba-" Jeongyeon stopped her "No, you don't have to, we're family now. Don't worry" With that 2Yeon left. Dahyun and Chaeyoung looked at each other, Tzuyu laying down in bed, they decide to go to sleep.

The next morning, Chaeyoung woke up early, and wanted to get up, so she stood up, he ankle hurt a lot. She had no idea what time it was, so she walked out of the room, and her ankle was still hurting, she knew she shouldn't be walking on it. When she walked to the living room, the first person she saw was Sana getting ready for work. Sana saw Chaeyoung "Chae, you shouldn't be walking" she scolded Chaeyoung softly because she didn't want to wake anyone up. Sana picked up Chaeyoung and sat her on the couch "Please don't leave here, wait till someone else wakes up, I am off to work. Listen please" Chae nodded, and Sana kissed her forehead.

Nayeon walked out and saw Chaeyoung on the couch "Morning, how did you get here?" Chaeyoung looked down, Nayeon knelt down in from of Chae "You did not walk out here" she checked her ankle, it was still swollen "I wish I could take you to the hospital, but we can't. What did I say about walking?" Chaeyoung sighed "That I shouldn't do it, but I only walked to the entrance, Sana unnie stopped me and scolded me for walking" Nayeon nodded "You are lucky I don't know you're full name" That had Chaeyoung chuckling, and Nayeon smiled.
