A Walk Through The Park

Ch. 13

That night while Jeongyeon was getting ready for bed, her and Nayeon were talking. Nayeon laid in bed "Well we can do for 2 weeks, anytime we go to the park, she has to sit out and stay next to one of us, or whoever is watching the kids play" Jeongyeon nodded "That would work, we have to make sure she listens though" Nayeon nods "Yea, I'll tell her tomorrow. Hey before we go to sleep, I know you will wake up before me so. Stay safe tomorrow, if anything happens I want to know when you get back or don't hesitate to get someone to help you." Jeongyeon nodded.

The next morning Jeongyeon woke up thanks to her alarm, but made sure Nayeon was back to sleep since she started moving around. Jeongyeon got ready and left the house and started heading to her work. She walked in and her boss was already in the back "Jeongyeon you're here early" Jeongyeon put on her apron and nodded "Yes sir, I just wanted to make sure I was on time" He nodded getting back to cooking the pastries, Jeongyeon started on the bread, and getting it ready. They worked for a while, and when most of the food was ready Jeongyeon started to pack up them up in boxes and leaving them to be ready to take. Jeongyeon remembered Nayeon's birthday "Oh sir, my sister's birthday is coming up. Is it okay if I make a cake for her here" He thought about it for a second "Sure, don't worry about paying for anything, you always work hard, do you need a day off?" Jeongyeon shook her head "No, I'll make it Thursday and come in Friday to pick it up, which is the day of her birthday" He nodded "Okay sure, so how many boxes do we have" Jeongyeon counted them "About 5" He nodded "Okay 1 more and we can head out" Jeongyeon nodded, and both of them continued filling one more box.

They got ready, Jeongyeon got her bag and put her apron inside "Sir you want me to carry your apron?" He looked over "Oh um sure" He took it off and handed it to her, and she packed it in her bag. Jeongyeon grabbed 3 boxes and her boss grabbed the other 3 and both of them put the boxes in the car, and they both got in. It started off as an awkward ride, making small talk because what else would they talk about, then he turned on the radio and it was older songs, after a while Jeongyeon fell asleep inside the car. He looked over and saw her asleep, nodded and just kept driving. Jeongyeon was hugging her backpack like her life depended on it, and listening to the music made it easier for her to fall asleep. They arrived to the place and he shook her "Jeongyeon wake up" Jeongyeon got up "Oh we're here" He nodded, and they both got out, Jeongyeon a little tired, they go to where they need to be set up and set up what they have. The host greets and thanks them for being there, and they start their part of the job.

At the house it's finally time to get up, Sana and Momo are up watching a movie when Nayeon walks out "Morning" They wave at Nayeon still focused on the TV, Nayeon then goes to wake up the little ones. When they were awake, Nayeon made her way to the other room, and they were both asleep cuddling each other. Nayeon woke them up and everyone made their way to the living room. Dahyun and Chae sitting on the floor leaning against the couch watching Monsters Inc. while Jihyo sat on Sana's lap, Mina in the middle, and Tzuyu on Momo's lap. Nayeon was making eggs for everyone, and called them when it was ready. While at the table Nayeon looked at Chaeyoung "Chae we figured out how we were going to punish you for that one night" Chaeyoung looked up and nodded afraid to see what she was going to say, Nayeon continued "2 weeks anytime we go to the park you have to sit out. Stay near the person who is in charge" Chaeyoung started whining "But that's unfair" Nayeon gave her a look "You are the one that got in trouble, and the one saying you wanted the punishment. Deal with it" Chae just pouted.

Mina heard park "Wait so we're going to the park?" Nayeon nodded "Yes Mina, then we'll go out to eat for lunch" Sana looked up "Where?" Dahyun finished swallowing her food "McDonald's?" Nayeon sighed "Yea sure" They all finished eating and got ready to go, Nayeon packing everything and all of them heading out to the park. Nayeon sat on the bench and grabbed Chae before she had a chance to sneak away and play. She has a big pout on her face, and Nayeon smiled "Just cause you pout doesn't mean I'll change my mind" Chaeyoung whined "But it's boring" Nayeon shrugged "Well let it be boring" Chae fell asleep again on Nayeon's lap and Nayeon watched what felt like her kids play around.

Around lunch time Nayeon carried Chae, and everyone walked to the nearest McDonald's and ordered for everyone which was 3 happy meals, chicken nuggets for them to share, and a burger. They all shared a drink and fries, which was still a lot for them. Chaeyoung woke up when Nayeon set her down because Momo woke her up. Dahyun, Tzuyu, Mina, and Jihyo were playing the playground, when Chaeyoung saw it she was about to get up. Nayeon came back "Don't think about it Chaeyoung" Chaeyoung whined again "You said the park, not anywhere else" Nayeon sighed "You're right, but when we call you guys back, you better come. First time we call, understand?" Chae nods and goes to go play with the others.

Sana smiled at the others playing "So how do you think Jeongyeon is doing?" Nayeon shrugs "I just hope she is safe, but we'll find out at the end of the day" Nayeon's number got called and her and Momo got up to get the food, Sana called the girls "Girls come down and eat" Chaeyoung was the first one down to prevent getting in trouble. Nayeon and Momo came back and only saw Chae "Where are the others?" Sana got up "Girls!" Mina came down "Unnie we want to continue playing" Nayeon shakes her head "It's time to eat, food is here." Mina sat down, and one by one the rest of them came down. They all ate their food, laughing and enjoying the time together.

They finished eating their food and had a nice walk home, the girls watching a movie this time. Chae and Dahyun got Sana and Momo upstairs "Let's prank Nayeon unnie" Momo laughed a little "How would we do that?" Chaeyoung grabbed the walkie talkies "We place these around the house, and and we keep one, and when she isn't looking or noticing, we talk and make her think she could possibly be going crazy" Sana smiled "Yes, or it might just give her a reason to beat our asses, but sure I'm down" Nayeon walked upstairs "Being secretive are we?" Dahyun screamed "AH! Nayeon unnie you scared me" She laughs "Sorry love, so I came to ask who wants to go to the  store with me. We need to buy groceries" They all say no, and Nayeon nods "Okay, well I'm taking Tzuyu with me. We'll be back"

The 4 took the opportunity to hide the 3 walkie talkies and keep one with them and watch a movie with Jihyo and Mina. After about 30 minutes both Nayeon and Tzuyu come home, and everyone helps put things away. Momo started off with the walkie "Unnie" Nayeon looked over "Momo?" Momo looked over "Yes?" Nayeon gave her a confused look. They all took turns, and after a few minutes of pure confusion from Nayeon, she found the first walkie talkie hiding behind a picture and grabbed it "You tried at failed girls" A bunch of groans came from the room, and Nayeon laughed "Sorry, but it was a good idea"

Later that day Jeongyeon came back and helped unpack, she was able to take some pastries home with her, and when she walked through the door, everyone came running towards her. Jeongyeon put the food down "Hey, I brought dessert. I'll just be in my room taking a nap" Sana smiled "We'll call you for dinner then". Dinner was made an hour later and at the dinner table Jeongyeon talked a lot about the day "Oh the people were nice, so was my boss, and he's paying extra for a full day since I don't work today as well. I have no idea what they were talking about, but they saw I was just a young student and were really nice talking to me.  I got to eat spaghetti for lunch which was really good. So how was your day?" Chaeyoung pouted "I didn't get to play at the park" Jeongyeon nodded "Yea I know, hopefully you learn your lesson" The day ended with all of them going to bed when Nayeon came home.
