When she got to Clark's house Lois opened the door. "Hey, Kara. Come in Clark is in the kitchen" She walked into the living room. "Thanks, Lois." "No problem. So what did you want to talk to us about that you had to come all the way here, not that it's a problem because you can fly.."Clark walked into the room when she said that. "Yeah, that's something I would like to know too. Hey Kara." He said with a big smile."Clark. I missed you." "I missed you too." They hugged each other. "Ok so tell us."Kara wasn't even nervous because she already knew Lois and Clark would support her. "I'm pregnant," Lois screamed. "Oh my god, Kara. Congratulations. You already know we are going to be here for you. Right honey. Honey." Kal was thinking. "Kal" Kara was confused. "Yeah, Kara Congrats but do you actually know how Kryptonian pregnancies work? They're not like human pregnancies." Kara never actually thought about it. "Wait, what." "Yeah I mean first of all a Kryptonian pregnancy only lasts 8 instead of 9 months. And the baby you only started showing in the last month and twins." Kara knew twins were a possibility because of her mom and aunt but she hadn't really thought about it. "Wait, twins" Kal knew Kara was confused. "Here let's go to the fortress so you can catch up on everything" Kara nodded. "Let's go. Bye Lois." "Bye, be careful," Lois said, warning Kal. "Always"
*At the fortress*
"Kara, I didn't want to mention it before but the child is Mon-els isn't it." Kara thought he wouldn't mention it but she nodded. Then Kal hugged her. "Oh Kara, you know me and Lois will help you through everything." She loved how Kal was so caring. "Anyways I will take another pregnancy test here at the fortress because the DEO wasn't really testing for Kryptonian pregnancy. While I wait I will catch up on the reading. I wouldn't want to fail the test." They laughed.
Kryptonian pregnancy
A Kryptonian pregnancy takes 8 months and the mother starts showing signs of a baby bump in the last month of the pregnancy. The birth is the same as a normal earth birth for reference. There are pregnancy symptoms like cravings, mood swings, etc. Symptoms on earth are unknown.
Twins & Triplets
Kryptonian twins are different from most species. The twins are born a month and a half apart. The mother gives birth to the first child and then gives birth to the second about a month and a half later. The mother starts showing in the last two weeks for the second child. Triplets are the same just the mother gives birth to 2 babies the second time.
"Kara the test is back, and I am hoping you did ALL of your reading because... You're having triplets." Kara was in shock. "Oh my god. That's going to be twice as hard I guess I am doing 9 months."
