Okay, don't believe the title, it's actually just some brief information on the whole angel/demon dealio so you guys aren't confused. (but somehow this was produced in my twisted wonderlandian mind, so yeah)
This also might help with creating OCs, SO STAY HERE!!
I'll tag all the people so far that have an OC just in case, BECAUSE THERE ARE UPDATES AT THE END.
☆ The Angel Gist ☆
Angels live in the Heavens, in comfort and prosperity, spreading light and goodness. Most angels have white wings, but exiled Angels have black ones. The highest ranked angels have different colored wings and halos. Angels usually look down on or despise demons, and have been taught from a young age that Demons are evil and they are the great force that drove that evil out. (blah blah blah) Angels are the highest in the hierarchy and they usually are the ones that impose rules. They're able to emit a powerful light called 'everlight' (or something) that drives away enemies occasionally. The lands of the angels are bright, beautiful, and luxuorious. Angels don't carry a chip around their shoulder like demons do as much, so we'll move on.
☆ The Demon Gist ☆
Demons live exiled in the Underworld, in poverty and unhappiness, dwelling in the pits of darkness where monsters and nightmarish places are called home. Most demons have black wings and the evilest have black horns. Most, if not all, resent the angels for casting them down there. Demons love to slip amongst humans and cause all kinds of trouble, from simple mischief to strife and even wars, occasionally. They're taught from a young age to be evil and to dislike angels, and are the lowest in the hierarchy. They are often treated as slaves to the angels and most if not all are filled with resentment of some kind towards the angels. They're able to emit a powerful wave of darkness called (nothing, because demons don't see the point on fancy titles) which will knock out enemies and cloud the field in complete darkness occasionally.
☆ What's Up With The Zodiacs ☆
... Nothing really. They're just a buncha people with magical powers named after the constellations.
☆ What's Up With Universe-sensei ☆
... Nothing really. He's just a super-powerful guy who's both good and bad and has a bad habit of sneaking out and just leaving cute messages behind. And cracking bad dad jokes.
☆ Power Orbs ☆
Very rare orbs (there are only thirteen of them so you lose one YOU LOSE ONE NOOBS) created a long time ago. They are only given to one girl every three thousand years ('cause GIRL POWER) and with it they can attack, defend, use it as a weapon, and also... boost their powers significantly! They're hidden very well and while in weapon form there can be weapons more powerful than them, they carry the great symbolic meaning.
☆ Just 'Cause It's Magical Doesn't Mean They Can't Enjoy Themselves ☆
Even though this is a magical realm, that doesn't mean angels and demons don't have access to earthly wonders like technology! Phones, cats, dogs, umbrellas, boba tea, cheeseburgers, you name it! I mean come on, it would be a crime if these guys didn't know what, say, technology and air conditioning was. Just to name a few glorious things. Granted, the demons don't get a lot of them, but, well... yeah. At least the demon zodiacs can experience it on Earth. All demons and angels are expected to attend school as well. (Yes, while they are pretty powerful, they still have to get an education)
☆ Magic & Mana ☆
Occasionally, a human will be chosen to learn magic-which is the closest a human can get to being an angel or a demon. Or sometimes, even rarer, some are just born with magic in their veins. The source of magic is called 'mana' and when you use magic your mana will light up around you in your 'color'. While a person can become a master magician through hard work, those who are 'blessed by magic' will be a natural-born at magic, regardless of anything. And you can't blame anyone 'cause it wasn't decided by anyone.
☆ UPDATES! ☆
You're all probably planning to murder me in my sleep because I keep on forcing you to adapt to changes, and I am sorry for that!! Please wait until I have at least found out how to see into the future. But I am a horribly fickle author (and person, in general) so, here are the updates, which I will update if I think of more things.
The reason why is because I frequently forget that I keep on feeling compelled, whenever I have to make big decisions, make sure it's fine with the creator of the OC. TwT Ah, my conscience... anyway, keep on reading.
