SUNDAY CAME way too fast for Joanna's liking, the weekend had absolutely flown by. Which meant another long week started tomorrow and she was not ready. But right now she was racing down the halls after having to get her things from her dorm right after dinner. She'd forgotten it would have been easier to bring her things and then go right to the library. Now her footsteps were echoing on the tile as she approached the library and it pierced her ears as she fretted. This was her and Draco's first meet up and she would hate to be late. However, she had minutes to spare as she tugged the door open and entered the library.
The library was much different on Sunday nights compared to Friday's. Kids want to rush to get last minute studying done they didn't do the two previous days, so they think sitting their assess down surrounded by books would help. It made Joanna laugh because she learned very easily to take the classes she understood with ease and didn't need to spend hours on. Now she made her way through the maze of bookshelves and tables to where she thought Draco could be. She felt a strange tingling spread through her body as she thought about seeing him again- either nervousness or excitement.
She wondered how much of a fool she made out of herself yesterday, because she didn't remember the fine details more of the gist.
Draco was easy to spot as he was at the table they had used already. He had his nose buried into a textbook so he didn't see her until she set down her bag.
"Hi."
"Hey." Draco's eyes wandered up and down Joanna as she got all her stuff out and organized. He could tell she was normal again, "how was the rest of your Saturday?" he asked very knowingly with a bit of a devilish smirk.
For a few seconds she stared at him confused, before her face contorted into a look of horror, "oh god.. I don't even want to know the things I said to you yesterday... How bad did I embarrass myself?"
"Not bad." a lie, "was just entertaining."
"I remember running into you but then I remember Cho dragging me to Hog's Head." Joanna let out a heavy sigh plopping down into the chair across from Draco.
"I guess that's all you need to know."
"Guess thank you for making sure I didn't die in Hogsmeade." she thanked him making her face flush.
Joanna remembered a lot more about Honeydukes than she was letting on. At least she remembered asking Draco why he wasn't rude to her- and the answer she wasn't expecting. It made seeing him almost harder on her, why couldn't he treat her like everyone else? It would definitely help her stop finding him cute.
