Sleepover (TLNM middle school AU)

1: Mid-Winter Troubles

          "Class dismissed," the teacher sighed as the bell rang. Everyone cheered. It was the last day of school before winter break. It was snowy outside, so everyone had to walk home in the cold winter air.

          Lloyd, Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane and Nya all walked together. Usually they would go home individually, but this time was different. They were having a sleepover at Lloyd's place. Everyone they passed glared at Lloyd, who was ignoring them for once, talking with his only friends. 

          "Hey, Garmadork!" someone shouted from behind. Lloyd was shoved on top of Kai. They both blushed. (Yes this is greenflame don't attack me lmao--) Chen, the lead cheerleader, stood over Lloyd. 

          "You just ruined the mood, man. What do you want?" Lloyd groaned as he stood up. Jay held onto Cole, who looked at him, but briefly went back to looking at Lloyd and Chen.  

          "I would tell a joke about you, but it's awful. Like you!" Chen said as he and his cheerleader friends started to laugh. 

          "Ha ha, very original. Now, if you'll excuse us--" Lloyd was cut off by Chen about to launch onto him. Luckily, Cole held Chen back just in time.

          "Wha-- How the-- How the heck are you so strong, dude?!?" Chen shouted, confused and straining to exit Cole's grasp. 

          "Look, man I know exactly what you're going to do. When will you get it into that thick skull of yours that Lloyd isn't evil just because his dad is??" Cole scolded as Chen struggled to leave his grip. Cole then proceeded to throw him on the snowy sidewalk.

          "Next time, think before you make fun of our friend," Cole threatened as the group nodded. Chen ran off in the other direction. 

          "Well. That ruined my mood." Lloyd sighed.  He never liked being treated like this. He was surprised by all his friends hugging him at once. 

          "Don't worry, Lloyd. We'll be here for you no matter what," Nya soothed. Lloyd smiled. The hug soon broke up.

          "Let's get going. I don't want Mom to worry," Lloyd said. They continued on their way to Lloyd's apartment complex.
