"What?! So the new Trevor is so full of himself?! Dream on boy!" singhal ko sa kaniya. He just look at me with smirk.
"Okay miss let's continue this right now. As you've said may date ka pa bukas." he said with sarcasm. Diniinan niya pa ang salitang 'date'
"Wag na! Umalis ka na. Bukas nalang!" pagalit kong sabi. I looked at him at nakitang nagtitipa siya sa kanyang phone. Maya maya ay nilapag niya ito sa table.
" I already cancelled my date so let's continue miss. Be professional." he smirked. Argh damn so arrogant.
Maya maya ay dumating na si Krion. At naupo sa tabi ko. He looks tired. Weird.
"Hey witch, where did you go?" bulong ko sa kanya. Habang busy si Trevor sa pakikipag-usap sa isang personnel.
" Gaga! May nakasalubong akong babae kala niya kaganda niya sarap sabunutan! Kinuha ba naman yung wallet ko! Buti nahabol ko. Gosh amoy pawis na ako baka maamoy ni fafi Trev." hingal na bulong niya.
" Did you arrest the girl? Anong nan––" sabay kaming napatingin sa kalabog. Binaba pala ni Trevor ang notebook na dala niya. I looked at him, raising my left eyebrow.
" I cancelled my date then makikipagbulungan ka lang diyan sa boyfriend mo?!" he said with serious and dark face.
"What?! He's not my boyfriend!"
"Ew, I'm gay fafi can't you see?" sabay ni Krion.
"Tsk. Everyone can fake their identity. I guess you act as a fcking gay. Doesn't suits you boy." mariing sabi ni Trevor. Anong problema niya? He's acting weird.
"Fafi ano ka ba? bakla nga ak––"
"I don't care. Let's continue this." pairap na sabi ni Trevor. Minutes passed kanina ko pa nakikita ang disgust face ni Trevor kapag nalilipat ang tingin niya kay Kri.

I looked at him. He mouthed 'please' so I said okay. Agad naman siyang tumayo at umalis. Napatingin naman si Trev sa kanyang pag-alis.
"Finally."
"What?" I asked when he whispered something. Pero 'di niya lang ako pinansin. Nagusap lang kami nang kaswal.
"Okay miss. So it's settled? Just come here a day before the celebration so you can check it. Gotta go." he said at dali-daling umalis. Miss huh? he never called me by my name today. Naglakad ako papuntang labas, it's raining. I looked at my watch it's already 5 pm. Nakulimlim at may onting kidlat pa. Bad luck huh. Pupunta na sana akong parking when I realized na umalis na pala si Krion. Wala nang maghahatid sakin.
I looked around to find some taxi but they're nowhere to be found. Masyado na kasing malakas ang ulan. Umusog ako ng konti para hindi mabasa. Nilabas ko ang phone ko at tinawagan si mom.
"Hello mom?!"
"Sweetheart? Nasaan ka na?Ang lakas ng ulan ah. Pahatid ka na kay Krion." nag-aalalang sabi ni mom.
"Mom, nauna na si Krion. Just send some drivers to pick me up here mom!" I exclaimed dahil 'di ko narin marinig ang boses ni mom sa sobrang lakas ng ulan.
"But sweetheart, walang makapunta diyan dahil may baha na daw. Just stay there hanggang humina ang ulan. Papasundo kita pag mahina na ang ulan."
"But mo––" it ended. Dali-dali akong pumasok ulit sa shop at naupo. Nilalamig na ako dito dahil sa aircon. Medyo nabasa ako kaya medyo nanginginig na ako because of wearing this short dress. Tumayo ako para pumila at bumili ng coffee. Yes, it's a cake shop pero may inooffer na coffee and etc. like starbucks.
Nagulat ako nang may naglagay sa akin ng jacket habang nakapila. I looked back and I saw, Trevor.
" You look like a wet cat wandering around the street." he said with cold voice. He didn't bother to look at me.
I looked away. "Thank you." i said before getting the coffee. Nagulat ako nang sumunod siya habang paupo na ako. I looked at him with confusion.
" Kia–"
"It's Miss Mauricio for you sir." i cut him.
"So, why are you here sir?" i really emphasize the word 'sir'
" I'm the manager of this shop so I can do whatever I want right miss?" iritado niyang sabi.
" Uh huh. Just wander around." i said and looked outside.
" How's your day?" seryoso niyang sabi.
I raised my brow. Anong bang pake niya? we aren't friend nor acquaintance. Why so effort knowing my day? Don't overthink Kianna. It's nothing.
" Why do you care? As far as I remember wala ka naman pake sakin right? so stop this shits. Just leav––"
The phone rings cut me. 'Ylena' calling. Another fling huh? He just looked at me as if walang tumatawag sa kanya.
" Just leave and answer it." i said and looked away. This pain is very familiar to me. Bitterness crept into my mind. I thought he will leave but his eyes remain on me. What?
" Just go I don't really mind. I'm not here to entertain you like others do." i said with annoyance, I just rolled my eyes. Ba't ba 'di nalang siya umalis? diyan naman siya magaling diba? tsk. Sounds bitter.
I looked outside. Ambon nalang pala e. Great. My phone rings so I answered it.
"Hello Kuya Marlon?" i said and glanced at Trevor who's looking at me.
"Ma'am nandito po ako sa may labas pinapasundo na ho kayo ni madam."
" Ah gano'n ho ba? sige po papunta na." binaba ko na ang tawag.
Tumayo na ako "Right. This time let me the one who will leave you behind. Farewell sir." i said. Umalis na ako without looking back.
Nakita ko si Manong Marlon na naghihintay kaya pumasok na ako sa aming kotse habang pinapanood ang labas na umaambon.
I can clearly remember the day I met him. It all began at that summer night.
