Vi's POV:

Sometime along the ride to Stanford, I fell asleep. Next thing I know Dean is waking me up, "Vi come on get up were here." Dean said shaking me.

"I'm up. " I get out of the car and see it's still dark, ".What time is it?" I ask. " Three in the morning."

"And you think Sam is just going to Let us in at 3 in the morning."

"Nope, That's Why were not knocking." Dean said while he smirked.

I rolled my eyes at him, "Well then what are we gonna do? " I asked.

"You'll see, just follow me and stay quiet." I rolled my eyes but followed him. We stopped at a window and Dean climbed in waiting for me. I followed.

That's what I like about being small, I can't get stuck in a window. He started to walk forward and when he opened a door, a tall man tackled him. I walked forward and lean against the door while I watch the boys wrestle eachother. I figured after a second the person that tackled Dead was probably Sam. "Whoa, easy, tiger." Dean said. "Dean?" Sam questioned. Dean chuckeld why I just stood there waiting to say something. "You scared the crap out of me!" Sam said. " That's cause you're out of practice." I said. Which caused them both to look over at me. Dean just smirked at me,while Sam just stared at me. "Vi?" He questioned while he flipped Dean over so he was on top. "Or not." Dean said. "Nope, I'm not your favorite little sister, Vi." I said sarcastily. He just rolled his eyes at me while Dean said, "Get off of me." Sam gets up and pulls Dean up. I walk over and stand next to Dean. "What the hell are you  two doing here?" Sam asked. "Well, I was looking for a beer." Dean said. Sam repeated agian, "What the hell are you two doing here?" I looked at Dean then said, "Ok. All right. We gotta talk." Sam looked at me and said, "Uh, the phone?" I crossed my arms, "If i'd of called, would you have picked up?" I questioned."Sam?" a girls voice said. We all turned our heads in unison. A girl with short shorts on and a Smurfs crop top. Sam speaks first, "Jess. Hey. Dean, Vi, this is my girlfriend, Jessica." I look over at Sam. "Wait, your brother and sister, Dean and Vi?" Sam nods and she smiles. Dean smiles at her and moves closer to her. Oh no, here comes his flirting mode."Oh, I love the Smurfs. You know, I gotta tell you. You are completely out of my brothers league." Oh my god Dean, just shut the heck up. I think as I roll my eyes. "Just let me go put something on." She says. "No, no, no. I wouldn't dream of it. Seriously." Dean answered her. Dean backed up again, next to Sam and I. Sam looks at Dean with a stony expression. "Anyway, we gotta borrow your boyfriend here, talk about some private family business." Dean says. "Yea," I say, "but, uh, nice meeting you." I finished. "No" Sam says as he walks over and puts an arm around Jessica. He says again, "No, whatever you want to say, you can say it in front of her." Dean says, "Ok." He looks at me and I know he wants me to say something. I mentally sigh as I say," Um. Dad hasn't been home in a few days." "So he's working overtime on a Miller Time shift. He'll stumble back in sooner or later." Sam said. I ducked my head, looked at Dean then back to Sam. Lets rephrase that then. " Dad's on a hunting trip. And he hasn't been home in a few days." His expression doesn't change as he says, "Jess, excuse us. We have to go outside." Sam leads us out the door and down the stairs. We were in silence until Sam broke it, " I mean come on. You guys can't just break in, middle of the night, and expect me to hit the road with you guys." "You're not hearing us, Sammy. Dad's missing. I need you to help find him." Dean said. "What about Vi. Can't she help?" Sam asked. "Yea but we need extra hands, Sam." Dean answered. "You remember the poltergeist in Amherst? Or the Devil's Gates in Clifton? He was missing then, too. He's always missing, and he's always fine. They both suddenly stop and that causes me to bump into Sam, and I almost fall, but Sam grabs my arm and yanks me up before I can. Dean looks at me and I nod. "Not for this long. Now are you gonna come with us or not?" Dean questions. Sam looks back at me and I got a feeling I know whats coming. "I'm not." I was right. I know that it might not be smart, but I decide to say something, "Why not?" They both look back at me while Sam says, "I swore I was done hunting. For good." "Come on. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't that bad." Dean says as he walks back down the stairs, Sam and I follow him. "Yea? When Vi told dad she was scared of the thing in her closet, he gave her a .45." Oh I remember that. "Well, what was he suppose to do?" Dean asked. Umm... Tell me not to be afraid of the dark. I didn't dare say that though. " She was nine years old! He was supposed to say, don't be afraid of the dark." Sam said while he looked at me. "Don't be afraid of the dark? Are you kidding me? Of course you should be afraid of the dark. You know what's out there." Dean said to Sam. "Yea. I know, but still. The way we grew up, after mom was killed, and dad's obsession to find the thing that killed her." Sam said then continued, "But we still haven't found the damn thing. So we kill everything we can find." Yup. Thats about it. " We save a lot of people doing it, too." Dean says. There was a pause when Sam looked at me like he was thinking about what he was going to say. "You think mom would have wanted this for us?" Sam asked. I think I saw Dean roll his eyes and slams open the door to go outside. We climb the stairs to the parking lot. It was silent until Sam broke it, " The weapon training and the melting silver into bullets? Man, Dean, we were raised like warriors." I nod, "He's right ,Dean." Dean just glares at me, while Sam gives me a quick thankful half smile. We walk to the Impala, "So what are you gonna do? You're just gonna live some normal apple pie life? Is that it?" Dean questioned Sam. "Not normal. Safe." Sam replied looking at me. I looked away. Dean looked at me and I knew what was coming, "So that's why you ran away?" Dean asked and turned away. "I was just going to college. It was dad that said if I was gonna go then stay gone. And That's what I'm doing. " Sam replied to Dean. Yes I remember that fight they had when I was twelve. "Yea, well, dad's in real trouble right now. If he's not already dead. I can feel it." Dean said. "Yea," I spoke up. Sam was quiet. I spoke up again, "We can't do this alone." Dean looks at me nods his head. "Yes you can." Sam said. Dean and I put our heads down, "Yea, but we don't want to." Dean and I said at the same time. Sam sighs and looks down thinking then he asks, "What was he hunting?" Dean opens the trunk of the Impala and opens the secret compartment that we put our hunting stuff in. "All right, let's see, where the hell did put that thing. " Dean said going through the trunk. "So, when dad left, why didn't you two go with him?"Sam asked us. "We were working our own gig. This uh,-" Dean cut off looking at me, I finished for him, "Voodoo thing down in New Orleans." Sam looked at us, " Dad let you guys go on a hunting trip, by yourselves? " he asked. "I'm twenty six, dude. And shes sixteen" Dean answered his question before I could. "All right, here we go. So dad was checking out this two-lane blacktop just outside of Jericho, California. About a month ago, this guy." Dean hands the newspaper of the guy to Sam. I continued for Dean, "They found his car, but be vanished. Completely M.I.A."
