Years later Clark now a young teenager leaves school and heads home, when a young Jimmy Olsen picks on him.
Jimmy: hey! Freak.
He picks on him some more.
Girl: leave him alone Jimmy.
Jimmy: what are you his girlfriend.
Clark looks at girl.
Jimmy: you gonna defend your girlfriend, huh you gonna help her freak.
All of a sudden a car swerves by and the bus ricochets to the left falling into the river. The bus driver jumps out in time, but the kids fall into the river along with the bus.
As they sink in the river the kids struggle to get out. Clark and most kids make it out but jimmy and lois are stuck in their seats. Clark swims down and gets back in the bus to help them out but ultimately fails. The rest of the kids watch as the bus is pushed up and they help lois out. They look back and see Clark carying jimmy out of the water.
Clark puts jimmy on the ground. Jimmy wakes up and gasps for air.
Clark: you alright.
Jimmy nods.
Watching in the distance the car driver talks on his earpiece.
Secret MIB: Looks like he's strong sir
Clark and jimmy now at the kent farm.
Jimmy's mom: he said it was like he an act of god, like Clark was just pushing the bus like it was nothing.
Martha: Im sure someone else helped him, he is just a boy
Jimmy's mom: my son said he saw what he saw.
They countinue talking.
Clark: dad. what am I?
Johnathan: your my son Clark.
Clark: dad tell me the truth. None of the other kids can do what I do. What am I.
Johnathan takes Clark to the shed.
Johnathan: down here son
He leads him to the celler. Johnathan turns on the lights and to see a small ripped of piece from the spaceship he came in.
Clark: what is this?
Johnathan: this came from the thing you came from.
Clark: so I'm not your son.
Johnathan: you are my son Clark. You always will be.
Clark: what does this mean dad, so I'm not normal, im not what you made me.
Johnathan: you are son, you had have come here with a purpose
Clark: what purpose?
Johnathan: I dont know
Clark: can't I just go back to pretending I'm your son
Johnathan: you are my son
Johnathan hugs clark
